Pedaling Through Schertz: Exploring Texas On Two Wheels

Here is a cycling adventure through some of the business areas of Schertz, Texas. I may post other communities I ride though on my normal bike rides. I usually cycle through Schertz, Universal City, Live Oak and Selma on my normal rides. I also ride in Cibolo, Santa Clara and Marion although the countryside in the middle is getting so small I barely recognize where I used to enjoy. When I trained for the MS 150 I would ride to Seguin, New Braunfels and back. Now I ride more to keep my abs and legs firm while taking care of my cardio. Next week outdoor pools are open so I can work my upper body while taking care of my cardio. I still love hiking, but these two workouts seem to do more in minutes than I can accomplish in hours with nature. This ride was 13-miles with too many redlights.

You can also see my beginning drone videos looking at 2016 dates when I filmed in safe nature areas. I practiced how to crash safely, how to fly with three propellers and how to ground the drone and drive to it. I practiced in snow, rain and extreme cold to make sure I understood the drones limitations before I went to the big cities. I handle a drone like I do a firearm and I truly hope others do the same.

Your coverage of the area is impressive. There are tons of small Texas towns that are totally unknown to the general public. I was completely unaware of this one.
