    That really tells a very good story . Like the old adage . A picture is worth a thousand words. Thanks for all the great work you do @LeonFrey.

    That glassy clinking sound of the falling rock is wonderful. It gives a real feeling of being present at this natural spectacle. Thanks for not drowning it out with music!

    I loved that video! Listening to Lava rocks tumble down slowly is so relaxing to me but then the bull starts running through the China shop and it's just amazing. Thanks for the entertainment you always deliver.

    アア溶岩ですね。
    クリンカーで表面はガサガサでカラカラと音を立てて流れています。

    Where did you hike up from to get to this point as hiking from the summit down was banned?

    • @leon_frey
      @leon_frey  2 года назад +2

      I went up from 'Punto Base n.16 - Rifugio Pietracannone' through Valle del Bove. The lava was in the Valle del Bove at around 1800m above sea level

      @@leon_frey that was brave to do that hike alone on an active lava field! I had to pay a lot to get a private guide to take me from the summit area. Next time cheaper to hike up from the bottom. Although I got to stand next to the full flowing lava tube!

      @@davidro77 being next to an active tube sounds also good;)

      @@leon_frey yes I was literally on the bank watching it stream past. Amazing! I guess not possible with this new Iceland volcano as you’d have to hike on the lava to get there and could be more underneath. But at etna there was just the one flow so relatively safe unless the main crater went off - in which case I’d have been toast

      @@davidro77 that is awesome! And yes, in iceland it is a bit more diffocult...
