Johnny 's channel is my favorite review channel next to the Completionist! Man, I loved the first sonic, but it was really hard, especially with the mobile controls. When I finally beat the game, my soul was crushed when I saw Dr. Robotnik juggling the chaos emeralds under the words: "GAME OVER". I'll definitely have to get sonic 2, because I am NOT going through the 50 rings then stupid mini game once a zone thing from the original.
And a little sister game. I played this game with my sis a lot with me as Sonic and her as Tails. She got upset when I went Super since she really couldn't keep up then. Loved the video!

WavingFuture2 For me, Sonic Adventure was more enjoyable that Adventure 2. With the first game, I liked the Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and to an extent Gamma's sections. For SA2, I only really liked Sonic and Shadows levels. I also disliked that Sonic and Shadow didn't have more stages and I was forced to switch between characters after each level. I liked SA1's story a little more even though it was cheesy and I thought SA2's story was just terrible. Also... Madspace...
Joshiesgotagun fair enough. i DO agree that knuckles' sa2 levels were worse than his sa1 levels (mainly because the radar problem) though sonic and shadow's levels were BETTER in sa2 than like, anything in sa1, there's so few of them it's not even funny. i honestly kinda like the tails levels in sa2 enough to count them as good. so i guess im just looking at how good the sonic/shadow stages are lol. chaos is cool though. i just like sa2 more, but that's just opinions being thrown around.
Venom NBK Back during the genesis days, he pretty much was. things started going downhill at adventure 2, and hit rock bottom at sonic 06. Things were looking decent/good again with unleashed, and were amazing with colors and generations. lost world had some neat ideas, they just weren't done very well. and then sonic boom: rise of lyric came out and hit rock bottom and then used a drill to dig 50 ft under rock bottom. shattered crystal was ok, but the backtracking and mandatory treasure hunting kinda ruined it.
bullshit, Mario had JUST managed to crawl out of that mucky nostalgia hole he fell in YEARS ago. it's only a matter of time before he falls in again (and drags Sonic in with him, too.)
I have Emerald Hill Zone memorized because of how much backtracking I did to get all the emeralds before Chemical Plant Zone. It felt like such a cool party trick, but I'm glad I'm not alone in knowing that cool feat! I realize this vid is old, but it was very fun to watch! :)

For SA2, I only really liked Sonic and Shadows levels. I also disliked that Sonic and Shadow didn't have more stages and I was forced to switch between characters after each level. I liked SA1's story a little more even though it was cheesy and I thought SA2's story was just terrible. Also... Madspace...
Joshiesgotagun fair enough. i DO agree that knuckles' sa2 levels were worse than his sa1 levels (mainly because the radar problem) though sonic and shadow's levels were BETTER in sa2 than like, anything in sa1, there's so few of them it's not even funny. i honestly kinda like the tails levels in sa2 enough to count them as good. so i guess im just looking at how good the sonic/shadow stages are lol. chaos is cool though. i just like sa2 more, but that's just opinions being thrown around.

Venom NBK Back during the genesis days, he pretty much was. things started going downhill at adventure 2, and hit rock bottom at sonic 06. Things were looking decent/good again with unleashed, and were amazing with colors and generations. lost world had some neat ideas, they just weren't done very well. and then sonic boom: rise of lyric came out and hit rock bottom and then used a drill to dig 50 ft under rock bottom. shattered crystal was ok, but the backtracking and mandatory treasure hunting kinda ruined it.

I have Emerald Hill Zone memorized because of how much backtracking I did to get all the emeralds before Chemical Plant Zone. It felt like such a cool party trick, but I'm glad I'm not alone in knowing that cool feat! I realize this vid is old, but it was very fun to watch! :)
