Great video ! When I look back I'm pretty sure Barbara Feldon playing ninety nine caused my first TV show crush on a woman. Something about her is so sexy to me. It wasn't just her physical beauty she was such a talented actor as well.
I met her around 1974 at the Coffee Bean store where I worked.... a very down to earth and beautiful lady.........(also met Natalie Wood there with Robert Wagner)
Great show. Never really saw behind the scenes. My 8 year old tries to stay up past midnight on the weekend to catch the show on Me-TV. Great memories. Thank u Barbara for doing the interview.
Watching Barbara Feldon play 99 in Get Smart as a teenager. My eyes used to zoom in on her because I was so attracted to her. And even today when she says, "oh Max" during interviews like this I can see her sexiness is still in there.
I loved watching Get Smart growing up. I've been watching them now with my daughter and love that she enjoys sharing it with me. Barbara Felon was always the coolest.
It's true, saw some photos of her from an event a couple days ago. Still positively stunning. Memory is going a bit, goes with the territory as you get up there, But still a stunner.
@@cmcb09 Barbara Feldon was and still my first celebrity crush. Too bad she's old enough to be my mother; I'd definitely be interested in getting acquainted with her.

Oh God....I was in such love with 99 back then. Not much has changed.....
After hearing this interview, when I watch reruns of Get Smart, I now can't help but notice Barbara's slouching in the shots. It takes a real actress to portray someone shorter than she really is.
Oh I LOVE this. :-) I actually knew Don Adams. I don't mean like we hung out or anything. But I played at a club that had backgammon and gin and I played with Don. I also went to the racetrack and bowling with him. He was such a nice, funny man. BTW, long story short, he hated the movie, The Nude Bomb. He was embarrassed by it. I miss you Don. Oh and I love Babara!!!
Actually, at the end of the episode "99 Loses Control" -- in which she was planning to marry a casino owner named Royale (see what they did there?), she told Max that "Susan Hilton" wasn't her real name. Nor was it Ernestine (thank heaven), the name Max used in the third part of "A Man Called Smart." After they got married, Max would introduce her as "My wife -- Mrs. Maxwell Smart." In "Rebecca of Funny-Folk Farm" Max was asked why he called her 99. "I don't know her name," was his reply.
I’ve heard that comedy acting is actually very difficult, it’s a wonderful thing to give people a good laugh and do it so professionally, as they all did.
Aaaaah, Barbara Feldon. Classy, smart, sexy and lovely too. Some crushes last a lifetime, I suppose. Check out her interview on Gilbert Gottfried's Giant Colossal Podcast. She is as witty, fun and vibrant as ever. It's worth it just to hear her repeat her old "tiger" commercial lines. Grrrrr
Yes, yes, yes.😊 I would also add Dawn Wells, Julie Newmar, Marta Kristen and Yvonne Craig. There are probably plenty I'm missing, but also let me add Jean Hale. She was in a couple of episodes of McHale's Navy, among other shows, and I always thought that she was one of the prettiest actresses of the '60s.
@@DavidBDavis-lz7bt Yes, I first saw Jean Hale in the movie "The St. Valentine's Day Massacre." And yes, she definitely belongs on the list. And don't forget Elizabeth MacRae, who was Gomer Pyle's girlfriend, LouAnn Poovie. And the girls from "Petticoat Junction." And Melody Patterson (F Troop).
I just found this preview of Barbara's upcoming audiobook for "Living Alone and Loving It"! It has preview recordings of Barbara reading from her book as well as written essays. artistshare . com/news/?pt=2607
@coffeejerk85 Naw, that was the ep. where 99 leaves CONTROL and she's referred to as Susan Hilton - but by show's end she admits it's just an alias. I think by now she'd be stressing that, not wanting to be associated with those "other" Hiltons.
Ms. Feldaon has always been a lovely Lady♥♥ I am a fashion designer, and the model that I use, has simelarities to Ms. Feldon's hairdos and fascial feqtures which have always been very CLASSY Look♥♥ I have always been a big admirer of Ms.Feldon.

Barbara guested on the Man From Uncle before Get Smart. I have the whole series on dvd. We all know that every week on Uncle there was some beautiful woman...I mean fer chirs' sake, Senta Berger was on that show...and she's truly in a class by herself. But, in spite of all these other women, the most appealing and sexy woman who guested on Uncle was Barbara Feldon. It's one of those roles that just gets you...and the way she plays it....and Barbara, you're still it. What a crush.
The Man from UNCLE episode she was in aired on 3/22/1965.Also,John Stephenson,Cesar Romero, guest starred in that episode.Still Black & White. The 1964-65 season.
It says they never revealed 99's real name in the show. Yeah, they did! It's Susan! After they get married Max asks what her real name is. She tells him and Max says, "Susan?! I prefer 99."

She never stopped being a beauty. Always a class act and gorgeous.
Indubidubly 🙂
She was 76 here and looks incredible. It takes away the fear of ageing to see someone as beautiful as this.
there is no e in aging....
Michael Ladd ...unless the writer is British.
Too bad you have to be a multi millionaire to get a woman who looks like her at 76.
Barbara is the only surviving cast member of Get Smart. I'm not including Bernie Kopell as he only had a recurring role.
@rascal211 that's not true. Anybody can look like that at 76 if they have the discipline to take care of themselves.
One the best comedies of my childhood. Funny without profanity, unlike some shows today.
Good stuff, thanks for posting! Ms. Feldon is timeless! She's looking fabulous!
Terrific lady! And a really beautiful, unforgettable voice.
Wow she looks Great.......and is about 75 years young here...........amazing!!

At 82, 99 is still a 10!
agree lovely lady..
A brilliant observation!
She was born in 1933. So 76 in 2009, not 82. But still in good shape (with some obvious surgical work).
@@chrislloyd5415 Now 87 as I write this on May 09, 2020, her birthday is March 12, 1933.

:: whew :: at first I thought she meant she didn't like "99" by Toto which is a phenomenal song.
I read somewhere that she was originally going to be called "Agent 69" but they figured that they wouldn't get away with it.
She sure was and still is a beautiful woman.
that's the episode where she "marries" a Kaos agent; and Max makes a quip about how mixed marriages don't work out.

Adoro relembrar os seriados "" A feiticeira "' e "Jeannie é um gênio" Gostaria de saber em qual canal de TV que passa esses dois seriados.

She was, and is. Not only is her voice pure ear candy, but her eyes were so big and deep, you could have gone swimming in them(lol).
