This sounds like such a setup call... There isn't any real info here you can't find anywhere else. It cracked me up when he said "...it's optional" and she responded with "So if you don't want it you don't have you don't have to and if you do, you do..." Really informative.
Don't forget that if you take medical insurance as part of your employment remuneration package in UK you will be liable to pay income tax on the value of that insurance. It's an incredible con by the government to tax you for reducing pressure on the NHS, it's treated like some kind of benefit like a company car or holiday but nobody wants a health problem.

Great video…gave me all of the information I needed to for forward with my own health insurance.
