Yes, and if you notice, Japanese players seem to have a much better attitude, be more polite and have more self control than American players. Look at types of Darvish, Matsui, Ichiro and Ohatani, they don't/didn't break bats and curse around in their profession etc.
The MVP SHOULD be the best player
Whoa, whoa, whoa there Costas.
ボブは大谷が歴代最高の選手だと言ってくれてる 自称歴代最高のパパは、あまり大谷を称賛したくなさそうなんだが……
Rich, a missed opportunity. There is only one Sports Personality which could make this comparison, and due to Ohtani's greatness, there is only one person to whom he compares: Pootie Tang.
Ohtani is goatani.
well that settles it then. There should always be an MVP award and best player in the league award.
Babe Ruth is the father Ohtani is the son.
Ohtani should have been MVP last year. I want to see Judge strike out 10 hitters in a game. Or even throw one strike for that matter.
What Ohtani is doing is like Tom Brady being Dion Sanders at the same time…
Hum… Did I go too far??
No
i think bo jackson playing both sports =P
Never ever compare Shohei with Ruth or someone from the past. Don't even go there.
You mean because Shohei is better, right?
he needs to get off the Angels, saying this as an Angels fans.
Rivals? Dwarfs is more like it.
Truth is you cannot even compare Ohtani with any player before MLB allowed black and latin players to join the league. Before that MLB players were not competing with the best of rhe best. So anyone's record and stats before 1947 (or the year when MLB actually allowed all the best black, latin and other races) dont count. So Babe Ruth was not really tested at the level as Ohtani!
Bullshit
🎉
I agree. But please don't jinx him..
hes too good. he cannot be jinxed
We’re just casually talking about a $600,000, or more!, possible contract like it’s chump change. Huh? And we’re still discussing his possible greatness? Well? Which is it? Is he good? Or what?
Sorry, I mean Millions.
No it doesn’t it far surpasses it lol
Barry Bonds was better after he took steroids.
Babe Ruth is no comparison to Shohei.
Other way around.
It is not rival, it is surpass Baby Ruth.
Wrong
Acuna23 > judge22
Ohtani can’t even be compared to babe Ruth he is miles above in greatness. Babe played against scrubs period
If they were scrubs then I hate to think what you are
42 hall of famers are scrubs?!
no,Shohei was the best player last year
Part of me wonders why anyone still believes babe Ruth is better than anyone, especially considering he only played against white baseball players, which were no where near as good as jegro league players. I still don't get it.
Ruth destroyed Negro League pitchers in barnstorming games.
Only white Americans thinks that 😂
Ruth was 6’2” and could hit the ball over 500 feet, he would have no problem playing today. Also did play against negro leaguers and japanese players in barnstorming tours and put up stats even better then his mlb numbers
White players, are the best players, fool!
