I enjoy the tutorial aspect of your channel. I’ve been swinging for 2 years now and I look forward to my workout sessions every other day. Thanks for all the great content!
American crossfitters stole kettlebells from mother russia and clubs/ gada and yoga from my country India and, ignoring their discipline/form and mediation only practice the practical aspects. You go sir teach everyone the disciple and form like always ❤
Thanks for sharing! I‘m glad these tools became more popular around the world; no matter what vehicle they came with. I see your point though brother! - Gregory
I started using kettlebells about a month ago and I feel stronger, never got sore but felt the workout, back pain went away. I already dominate the weight, buying new ones soon.
I use rubbing alcohol to wipe down the handle of the kettlebell before I start for general gym hygiene and then to also clean the handle of sweat and oil during my workout. I also spray it on my hands to rid them of oils produced during the workout. It seems to work and is less obtrusive than chalk.
I love this video 😂 I'm going to get a primal Kettlebell and hit myself with it 😂 Kettlebell training is the best , in Russia and CCCP they all used it and still do Combine with carrying and pull ups , push ups its super gut 😄👍🇰🇿
in ten minutes, I learned more than in years of training in gyms. Few coaches really know how to properly work with weights. In training in Thai boxing, we were just forced to make them makhi and that's it. Without turning on the legs. Glad I found your channel. It is a pity that it will cost a fortune to order the delivery of such weights to Russia, because I only have cast-iron 24 and 32 kilograms. And, as always, sorry for my English - this is an online translator.
Thanks for your awesome feedback! You should find hollow core competition kettlebells in Russia! That's where these types of kettlebells originate from. - Gregory
@@mattdempsey8173 no, friend, kettlebells, of course, are for sale. But empty ones are not sold, as in the video. I live in a city of more than 1 million people, but there are not many sports stores. Decathlon in Russia no longer works.
Not a fan of gloves. They circumvent the need for better skill and unnecessarily increase the thickness of the handle. More power to you though if you enjoy working with them! - Gregory
The joke with the primal bell clean was that he did use the wrong side on purpose. You should be able to clean the primal bell like every other bell if you take the correct side.
Good video. I love kettlebells and train with them every week and have done for many years... The only thing I love almost as much as kettlebells... Are JP's videos! Hehehe I could never be offended by JP as his over-the-top sarcasm really hits my funny button. Personally I never, ever use chalk when kettlebell training. I don't need to. I never have sweaty hands and as you say, Gregory, most people don't understand the "jump technique". Chalking just for the sake of it will only make your technique worse and cause too much friction. Cheers.
That dude is hilarious. He is also somewhat politically incorrect, which is what we all need more of. His channel is about pointing out what should be obvious absurdities. You did a great job!!
I used to dislike kettlebells because I only knew people that did/taught it poorly. When I learned how to actually use them I started recommending it to others because they are a lot of fun and is a nice change to dumbbells.
I liked his original video on functional training. I think his criticisms in that video were extremely valid and I agree with them 100%. The issue with kettlebells is that it was turned into a fad by the FuNcTiOnAl training cult so now people misuse them all the time and unfortunately there are more scam artists out there than people giving legit kettlebell advice. Just look at Dan John's average views vs any of these scam artist influencers who are steroided out of their minds
I thought his video was funny. I actually do a lot of bodybuilding with kettlebells, and weighted calisthenics. They are both brilliant for muscle growth, as there is constant tension on the muscle 💪
Steve Maxwell is right. Kettlebells tear up your joints. They are a joke. I sold mine years ago and never looked back. Barbells are light years superior.
Barbells are great! Kettlebells serve a different purpose. Any training modality destroys your joints if you don't know how to use it and try to pick up heavy weights with a deconeditioned body. - Gregory
I saw this guy in Austin - one of the worst 15 minute stand up sets I've ever sat through. He's hardcore right-wing which isn't really a problem for a comedian but his entire set was an antivax, anti "woke" diatribe that wasn't actually funny.
@@_Zane__ oh no, the latter. I live in Texas and love a lot of the more conservative right wing comics that are from here or swing by on tour - Nick Di Paolo is one. This guy's set just straight up sucked and I was really looking forward to it. I think COVID broke him.
@@_Zane__ I think JP is going through what a lot of influencers go through when they branch out - one set of talents don't always translate to a different media or role like you think they should. He's put out some amazing videos regardless of his politics but they're tightly edited and rehearsed with as many takes as he wants. He is (at least right now) truly awful to watch live. If you're ever in Austin he might still have live shows regularly if you'd like to form your own opinion.
Do you know what sense of humor means? Any associations with sarcasm and irony? He was mocking not kettlebells, but improper use of them and those influencers and show off amateurs who don't know how. Just watch again. Thanks him for not mocking you for not getting, what he was about :)

He makes fun of people who actually stand up for things or actually do awesome things. Even though on a superficial level he may seem funny on a deeper level he's not.
Seriously using those Joe Rogan KB’s it’s comical. Those kettle bells are not even worth buying yet using to demonstrate kettlebell exercising.
