4.1 and 5 are on steam. 5 is a sort of series reboot with 111 missions (110 for online as online skips the tutorial mission). you need at least 75% completion to turn off limits in online (no limits is the best but you really gotta earn it as completion is measured by completing a mission on a difficulty though easy normal and hard are all done if you do a mission on hard so that you just need to beat the game on hard and hardest online to unlock limits though the most ridiculous weapons are only dropped when playing on inferno difficulty), also EDF 6 was recently released in japan it takes place after EDF 5 the aliens return after reading all you need is kill or watching terminator and deciding what the aliens or skynet did was a good idea. one of the improvements is the air raider, wing diver, and ranger all get a backpack equipment. also air raider has decided they need weaponized drones in 6 the air tortoise's thruster cannot damage you (badger just hit himself with it as the missile has a little drop before the missiles thruster kicks in) but there's a reason why its called a tortoise it has s tier tracking but they are slow AF if you do get EDF 5

Now I understand why the Russian Badger had to swap out the model that they use for the aerator and some of the lines for her it sounds really wrong in the wrong context
@@Leostar-Regalius You'd be wrong, the continuity keeps resetting but Global Defence Force is a sequel to Monster Attack, and Insect Armageddon and EDF 2025 (and therefore 4.1) are both sequels to 2017 (though not canon to each other), itself a remake of Monster Attack. And 5 is a remake of Monster Attack _and_ Global Defence Force.
You can glue the turrets onto anything, I've lost count of the amount of time I've accidentally glued them to the severed legs of dead ants only for them to disappear taking the turret with them
