23.6.17 From corrupt UK. How we love the way many people in USA do things. No snobbery. Practical. Manual skills. Well explained. Just same as the US training we had in another field. Shouldv moved there when had chance. How sad am I.

Nice job on the pipe work. Get you a more efficient stove, you will save a ton of wood. 👍
I love my stove, WAY better than the smolder fire brick lined, barely running at 4am stoves you can buy today. Thanks for watching
I have several wood stoves, none of mine smolder unless I want them to. I am stoking mine as we speak while it's currently snowing outside. I put 3 logs in last night at 9:55pm I still had a nice bed of coals. 10 hour's strong. Take care 👍👍
glad to hear that, I dont miss running Kalifornia epa glass window epa stoves, had em cant give them away here in the north east. I love my old potbelly stove, burns every thing from green to snow covered wood becuase of the placment of the air doors. Plus i can burn coal, no smoke, no dirt, and hands off for days at a time. plus, being cast iron, on those cold days i can run this old stove to 800f and warm the place right up quick,, lol I'll keep er till im dead ;-)
@@ROCKNTV1 not only do u have a good stove, but you pipe is key. They way up having running up hill out of your house is a must. Most people don't understand this, they run straight up,then hard 90 level and wonder why they pipe gets clogged up in a week 😆
you are so right, dont know if you saw my 1st vid or my QnA vid in the play list, but before i bought the through wall kit, I call the piefessionals, they wanted 4500 to kink around the over hang on the gable end,,,,,, I said no thank you and started building, manufacture says no kinks on exterior installs. ruclips.net/video/cHZ9B1CDSDE/видео.html
I like your way of teaching .. you sound like me\
glad to help, thankx for watch n
hope all is well
Great video! How big around did you have to make the hole to give you the extra room for the fiberglass insulation and what size pipe is this, 6'' or 8''? I have to do the same thing in my basement.Thank you very much.
approx 9" od
hope all is well
Terrific, thanks
is youtube deleting my comments? thanks for watching
Thank you for the good video! Please tell me about the dangers of coal burning, why there is so many warnings about it?
Do you need a different stove then a wood stove? and where do you buy coal, may I ask? thank you so much and have a good day!
dangers of coal burning = you run out of trees, like england
awesome vid.

I know you posted this in 2013 -but hope you might respond. I just wondered how it had worked for you??? Also I had read in their pamphlet that they said the strangest thing- - - they said that if you put it out the wall OUTDOORS you should build a protection around it because the cold weather temperatures could cause condensation and build up of junk in the pipe??? I wanted to know what you have experienced???? Thank you , if you have time.
the supervent flue has worked well. For the first year i checked it constantly, bought the sweeping tools to do it myself, at end of season, and quick check for pesky birds before fall fire up.
They told me I need triple wall pipe to burn coal? We have very high quality coal and I wonder if double wall isn’t safe enough for my type of coal? What’s your experience is double wall pipe been good enough for you and what’s the highest temps you’ve seen your stove put out onto your stove pipe?
Dont know who they is,,, but ,, "they" are wrong,, ruclips.net/video/REP6VAbYCYs/видео.html, a propper coal burning stove will likely have less than 50% of the flue pipe temp of wood. To my knowledge triple wall pipe may be use on some heating applience that use return air.
Just wondering, why wouldn't you run the pipe through the floor and then take it out the wall?you could heat the room that it goes through....
a ton more work, and room above the stove did not lend itselfe to a flue pipe, decorativly speaking.
Are you in Montreal by any chance tomorrow? LOLOL
no :-)
i thought that bracket got installed up higher to support the stove pipe am i suppose to mount it down that low like in your video or what never done this before i have a 6 inch straight pipe coming out the opening in the wall whats next to get it to the roof
the insulated T pipe
Does this heat your entire house? or entire basement?
yes and yes
Why not use a through the wall kit with a thimble?
i did use a through the wall kit, concrete, no thimble needed.
I am still looking for a video with the tee and what is needed at the bottom..mine has a cap and I think I need an ext piece?thanks..
and questions answered here ruclips.net/video/LaGTCrDp4KA/видео.html
Are you in Selkirk (haldimand) Ontario?
no
You made a long vid and didn't even show exactly how the pipe goes together, does it need locking bands or does it stay together by it self some how............
ruclips.net/video/LaGTCrDp4KA/видео.html 1/4 turn, self explanitary when staring at the flue pipe.
You didnt need a wall thimble?
concrete,,,, a,, no
is that the chrome double wall insulated pipe all the ways to the roof in 3 foot sections i really need help
stainless steel
how much was the pipe total ?
13- 1500$
What’s the temp on the outside of the insulated pipe? I know you have to have clearance from wood but i still wanna know how hot it gets
on a wood fire 400f at the T, on coal fire 200f
Thanks for the info
thanks for watching
its too far away from the house, how is this a good job, all brackets are custom? No one would do this except a homeowner.
This flue pipe is installed in absolute local fire code and distance to flamable materials guidline per manufacture specs. Not to mention signed off by my insurance adjuster,,and way more rugged, but hay you would know that , if you realy watched the video,,,
you have that 45 degree bend upside down mate
