since the wipes show a bit of color, means the birks were colored with shoe cream from factory, so i'd use a brown on there very lightly then the mink oil
Yes they are. Just use a good conditioner and they'll be just fine. I'm using LL Bean boot guard. It's their conditioner and it's good stuff. Hope this helps
@@Ajuar1 baby wipes are just to get rid of dirt and whatnot. You can just as easily do that with a wet rag. Once dry then condition them with a good conditioner. Lexol and bick 4 are great options. The LL Bean boot guard is heavier duty. It'll help keep some wet out as well. But you can use any of those 3 to condition after cleaning and be good to go. Hope this helps
What do you suggest using for the oiled black leather? I have the londons in the oiled black and prefer them to look more like the “shiny” classic leather look but don’t know if that’s possible. Is there an oil you recommend other than mini oil?
Can I oil my black Boston leather bostons? I dont like the dull leather. Its always chalky white at the toe from rubbing on stuff. Can I make it oiled leather?
How to clean the footbed of this pair of Birkenstock shoes? They have covered tip/top part so it's impossible to rub the footbed with Nubuck Gum as you did in this video ruclips.net/video/k7PWWV_QIgY/видео.html
Thank you, for some reason it was impossible to find a video of someone actually just oiling their birks

Are these oiled leather? I’m hoping to find a way to keep my oiled leather Birks looking great.

mink oil darkens the leather permanently I would only use on black leather unless you want to darken the color

I love Birkenstocks!
me too:)
Is it the same process for leather Boston's.. 🙏. Great Job.!!
yes if it's real leather. not for suede though.
Very nice and easy. Thank you
Thanks AJ:)
Should I use the same oil as you if my Birkenstocks are grey instead of brown like yours?
It depends on leather type. If the leather is regular one, you can use it. not for suede!

depending on how they finish your boots. You could use leather oil for boots:)
Очень хороший туториал, спасибо
Is it possible to fix Birkenstock leather straps from water damage??
@Briana it's depending on damage, but usually it's not removable.
Can i use baby oil instead?
It may be helpful, but I recommend you use leather care products.
Yeah you are right thanks a lot!
👍
How can i buy the soles?
try Amazon or ebay etc..

the colour gets darker though
do baby wipes damage oiled leather?
usually it's for regluar leather and also depending on how you apply it.
Answer is no. If it's good for human skin why wouldn't it be good for cow leather?
