I never realized that so much of musical theory goes into creation of one song. I learned to sing this song by imitating Jesudas. But what jesudas got was those notations and lyrics. Ma'm I am a subscriber..and been a student of shastriya sangeet long back . Now I am trying to introduce that to my son.. I find your lessons greatly useful while introducing the raga and its chota khayal to him. Your sharing of the swaralipi strengthens that. In a way your lessons help him to identify that this is yaman, that's khamaj etc. from our common rag based compositions. But every time I hear you I learn a lot... It gives me courage to go ahead..
