    Check the little rubber vent on the top of the tank

    Do you know what it means if it doesn’t want to start and you change the part

      Probably means the part wasn't the issue. You need to describe what it's doing in more detail. Long cranking? What's the outside temperature (the grid heater only comes on below 60* I believe). It is probably a fueling issue

    I had the same issue with my 24v problem was the power wire coming from the battery over to the relays, they have a built in fusible link that goes bad on them!

      Good to know. Mine had been good since this video. Appreciate the knowledge

    How would you shock yourself with a battery? I’m pretty sure that’s not possible a better reason to disconnect the batteries is to not short something out

      Positive to any ground on the truck completes the circuit, and you get a zap...

      I apologize for not fixing my truck with the grid heater and wasting my time and money on parts 🤣. Truck has since been fixed, but way to come off as a dick head.

      @@AllThingsBoost What was the problem? I have a 2004 and current is coming from the battery to the relays, but no positive current is coming from the relays to the grid heater, only ground.

    Is this the p2609 code

    • @AllThingsBoost
      @AllThingsBoost  Год назад

      I actually never checked my codes, but considering that p2609 is "triggered when the PCM detects a performance problem with the intake air heater system" I would imagine that it could be it. It also may be the intake temperature sensor itself.

  • @idiot5033

    Is that the p0542 code?

    • @AllThingsBoost
      @AllThingsBoost  2 года назад

      I didnt have that code, but it's very possible.
