This was the biggest takeaway of the tournament for me - Jmook is so cracked that he makes a historically bad matchup look even. Have a feeling a lot more sheiks are gonna be inspired and start grinding / copying / innovating now, similar to how the falcons were invigorated when None beat M2k sheik.
As someone who has played since 2014, I can assure you slime knows what he’s talking about for most things. Only very specific details does someone like mango come in and correct him. But Lud is a typical puff only main that can’t play or understand another characters point of view to save his life.
Slime was one of the best commentators the game was ever going to get and the community decided they didn’t want him after years of doing good ass work. Now we don’t get bits of absurd humor with a really good explanation of mechanics at all. Glad Slime did what he could for the game, sucks the community had to go fuck it up. At least slime did what he wanted the way he wanted to
