Digestion of carbohydrates starts in the mouth as starch digestion ( saliva contains enzymes like amylase that breaks down carbohydrates into sugar)⏩ Oesophagus (no digestion ) ⏩ stomach ( HCl and other enzymes) ⏩ small intestine (complete ✅ digestion of fats, carbohydrates and protein) ⏩ large intestine ( absorption of water 💦 and minerals and waste materials passed through Anus)
