The Philippines has been known for it’s people who has a very warm hospitality and of course, their talents.
Singing has always been a part of every Filipinos lives. Almost a majority of the Filipino people can sing, about 70-90%.

When she said that the Philippines doesn't have any venues, I went like wait, I went there for the FIBA WORLD CUP recently and they have the Largest Concert Halls in the World , they even have 3 of the top 10 largest malls on Earth and I know 1 of them has a pretty big concert hall that can host 30k people , they even have the biggest indoor stadium in the World as well (50k to 60k seats) that hosted a lot of international concerts, what she said that they got skipped by artist, I dont think so as well, I've seen a lot of videos of Bruno Mars, Miley Cyrus, a lot of K pop idols , Maroon 5 , Jesse J who had the Philippines on their tour ( somebody told me , not sure if it's true that the Philippines only invite artist who they think are good to perform in their country). I'm not Filipino nor am I Asian, but I've seen a lot of people like that girl saying stuff on the net of something they don't know. The Filipinos I kindda notice have this talent of imitating other artist so well that they sound better than the original sometimes, they're not fans of our music here nowadays in the states, they are fans of our music back in the 70's 80's 90's and early 2000's. You got to admit the music industry nowadays here, is kindda shitty, our artist nowadays rely on technology to sound better. Really quite opposite of the Philippines right? I arrived in the Philippines a few days before the World Cup started, so I went walking around inside one of their Gigantic Malls ( it so massive that it will put any malls here to shame, heck even my beloved Mall Of America has nothing on that mall) and got amazed that people there sings a lot, I encountered a girl singing an Alanis Morrisette song ( she sang it beautifully)out loud while walking. I thought she'll get reprimanded by the other people but they didn't. They even have portable Karaoke Machines being sold inside the mall. I guess singing and music overall is a big part of their culture, that's why they're that good.

Went there in August and stayed a few days in Boracay beach. I’m telling you, every singer that I heard each night, you can hear them coz the cafes are outdoors, are so good they even sounded like the real singers. Hats down to all Filipinos! I have great respect for all your God-given talents! You guys are amazing!

I say around 90% of the adults in the Philippines are singers. Different notes, I say.. Could be base, tenor, soprano, mezzo-soprano, the high-pitched falsetto like Morissette Amon.. There are many here who have The Voice and enjoy singing. There are many karaoke bars in the Philippines and you will be able to spot many Filipinos singing, might be amateurs but they have the voice quality of a singer. 😊

Big music stars have been coming to the Philippines since forever. The Beatles, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Kenny Rogers, James Ingram, Bruno Mars etc. They love to perform here and are warmly received by Filipinos. Even the ones who aren't so popular in the US. Some even stayed here for good.

the reason why philippines is basically a haven for great singers is because of the culture. Karaoke is so big here that it's a must in every gathering and party. no karaoke? then your party's lame af 😂. other countries have ktv's that they go to but here in Philippines, almost every house have their own karaoke system so they get to sing all the time and naturally practice their voices they would sing very early in the morning and would stop past midnight lol. another very filipino thing to do is to get the kids sing and dance in public always. whenever friends and relatives come over, you have to sing. when you see a band, parents would let you jam. even people who don't sing have a pretty good knowledge on what the basis is for a good singer. this is also why it's quite difficult to impress filipino crowd cause even casual people can equivalent to a proffesional singer outside the country. you would notice this when you see videos of filos singing in public then people around them just pass by, won't even be amazed because it's a normal occurence . you would probably get more attention if you sing out of tune 😂

My #1 is morisette. In fact we got a lot of talent, not only in singing, but we couldn't showcase in many venue probably because of money matter, that's the reality we can't even travel the whole country because of this, so if there is no support from rich people or the government, there is no chance but hide the talent in a remote places, that's the fact. It's a good thing because of karaoke, others went viral and became known all over the world and also because of those reaction channel like this. Thanks for the appreciation guys🫰

Lea Salonga is the singing voice of Mulan and Princes Jasmine in the Disney movies. She is also a Tony award winner for playing the lead part in Miss Saigon. She also sang as Eponine and Fantine in Les Miserables' 10th and 25th anniversary concerts respectively. She has been on a few Broadway musical. She is the real deal.

Artist in Philippines are the real deal for their raw talent and discipline. I beg to differ tht Philippines have no big venues to hold a huge concert, just a fun fact Philippine Arena is the biggest arena in the world. Singers in Philippines sings live and dont use auto tune. 99% of filipinos can sing if you able to attend a filipino party there's always a karaoke or jamming session. All these ladies are topnotch artist and undeniably talented.

_Ho-ho you're just scratching the surface._ There's a *TON* of amazing vocalist and powerbelters here in the philippines and some of them are just randomly caught on videos and went viral on other social media platforms. Some are guys who also had the belting vocal capabilities like those filipino womens. Yes, some of the artist here in the philippines are very underrated but there's still some that manage to get the appreciation they deserve not just from our fellow filipino fans but also from another countries here in south east asia. Asia's Songbird Ms Regine Velasquez Alcasid is one of my favorite.. Don't you know she sang together with the SB19 Boys in one of their ballads "Hanggang sa Huli" which means Until the End in English... It's such a nice song., Stell as well as Ms Regine belted their way out..❤😊💝💕

The first filipina who I heard sing was Nia Peeples. She was on the tv series FAME in the 70s or 80s. She also co-starred in the tv series Walker Texas Ranger. She's also a dancer and martial artist. She would do some crazy martial arts moves. She'll be 62 on December 10th.
