This is dependent on the surface you are using the mouse on, many mice contact the surface on points not covered by Teflon pads and thus having larger pads creates an overall smoother glide, not all ways faster but smoother with more control.
Best mouse/feel = Logitech MX300. Alot old core gamers know what i mean with this. There is no mouse which have the build and perfect grip as an MX300 or G1. To bad they arent builded anymore. Seems the sensei looks like an G1, but seems to be still bigger then the G1/MX300.
