Acknowledgment of religion's indirect contribution to violence and injustice. 10. Preference for questioning over blind acceptance. Despite acknowledging my imperfections, I take responsibility for my actions rather than attributing them to a divine plan. I strive for self-improvement, guided by science and rationality, remaining open to new ideas and perspectives.

The fear of death & what would happen after death are only two reasons why people believe in such superficial things, they're lazy & scared because believing is easier and safer than independently searching truth or not believing something for fake satisfaction. this is responsible for conventional believes in superficial things we say it religion. But there is also one more reason that's ego, people's want to justify their bad actions with the help of religion Like sacrificing animals for a ridiculous reason. The husband is God or superior to the woman, and the wife can drink the holy water of his feet, there is nothing wrong in this according to religion. Killing a non-believer can also be justified to a great extent by religion by declaring that innocent person unrighteous according to their religion. He can justify every violence done by him by saying that I did it to protect the religion and the interesting thing is that even our beloved religious society will not blame him. I am not a traditionalist religious person, just because I am not afraid of death, I know very well that one day I will die, so there is no question of being afraid, anyway, I am not going to become immortal by being afraid. And as far as heaven and hell are concerned, there is no single proof available with any religious person who can prove all this, so there is no point in being afraid of all this.

I am an atheist. I became an atheist because when I was growing up, in school I started to really getting interested in maths and science and the more I studied the less reasons I found for God, because growing up in a muslim family, all the reasons and stories I heard were either unreasonable or unscientific and it took a little while to completely detach myself with the idea of god, I had issues with the idea of hell even though I became an atheist, but slowly as I kept studying and growing I found myself at a phase where I no longer believed in any god, spirituality or anything supernatural.
Same situation happened with me but there is still something else except science I also got interested in history ,politics ,religion books and I started to read this books after that I become athiest

Dada I'm an atheist. I was raised in a hindu non conservative family then later on I turned to islam due to some influences on my close one n became more religious n kinda respected God n everything related to it. Down the line when I saw this society then realized there is not sign of any celestial being paving path for human. No one no religious organisation is taking responsibility of those wrong things that are done by religious people in the name of religion.. then I thought it was humans fault but religious books are holy n religious customs are good n give equality to everyone.. then I started reading books from islam Hinduism n even bible .. i found the roots of all evil. It's with in religion n the idea of a celestial dictatorship..if I can praise the matter in the name of god if in a accident a 2 years kid got saved n if it's a miracle then what about at the same time same day hundreds of kids getting birth with blood cancer with fatal physical issues n who can kids die from hunger n lack of water on this earth if god is watching.. whom to blame ?? When it comes to good give credit to god n when it comes to bad then?? Its only our fault ?? What kind of logic is this..

Well, I knew about Bhagat Singh since childhood but when I turned 18, I tried to know more about him. I came to know a lot about him then I came to know about one of his habits. He used to read a lot of books, then first of all I read his books which he wrote. From there I understood things a little. Then I read the books written by him, read the books of his comrades, then I started to understand things. I started moving towards atheism. I read Geeta, read Hindu texts, then I saw a lot of flaws in them. I myself am a Hindu from SC. yes, I saw the differences in those books, I saw that God himself is talking about a particular caste, how can this be, if there was a God then for him we all would be equal, otherwise I believe today that these were very clever kings and emperors of that time who made themselves worshipable, when I read Bhagat Singh, I felt that how can the thoughts of a person be so great in just 22-23 years, then I understood because he had read very great people, I used to read, I should do something like this but times are different I cannot become a revolutionary nor can I become 1000th part of him but I can do one thing. To become great I can read great people. I have adopted this habit of him and today I am 21 years old, but I have read more than 70 books, if not many, and as far as I have heard from people about myself, my thoughts are many years ahead of people of my age and because of this today I get more respect in the society than others. And I would like to say that if you want to become great then I should start reading great people. Adopt their habit.

I think im atheist , reason is all of the existing religions can't give proper and logical answers to questions but i belive in power (entity) that created this universe, by very basics of physics universe created by big bang but there can be something before , that superpower maybe its beyond scope . My decision to become an atheist was well thought. In childhood, I was very lazy in performing religious rituals & atheistic tendencies was clear to my parents, but when I grew up and studied deeply the thoughts of Babasaheb Ambedkar and Mahatma Buddha, that's why I became an atheist.

I'm atheist for many reasons: 1) There is no evidence of existence of a God. 2) Religions are just few thousand years old, while humans came to existence 300k years ago. 3) There're 4000+ religions, and each religion has their own gods and beliefs, so which one is true. This says alot that gods are human made. 4) The death of kids or rape of girl and women are the biggest reason to question the god. 5) Death or torture of innocent beings. 6) Accidents and deaths of people while religious trips and activities, like 2013 Kedarnath flood. 7) If we look around, everything that happens around us has a basic science behind it, there's no chamatkar. 8) If the god or creator exists then who created that creator. There's no point in believing that a creation has to have a creator. 9) If god made us then why he took billions of years to build Earth and why there were dinosaurs lived for millions of years. 10) If god would have exist then he should have come to earth and clearify that he's the real one so that people don't waste time worshipping other religions and gods. I don't have a single reason to believe in god but I have a thousand more reasons to not believe in god. 🙂

I am not athiest nor an beliver in god i dont want anything from god like money ,love, moksha etc and i believe if there is god we cannot understand the concept of it beacause of our human limitations , and i like to live my life on my own consciousness and my thinking and accepts the burden of such choice, i will do what i think right and find the answers to my questions i am still in journey dont know where it ends And i think god is or not is never ending debate i don’t want to get in i just want to expirience the world i am in before going to die and live life on my own terms 😁
I am an agnostic who believes in Advaita Vedanta, i want it to be removed from "Sanatana Dharma" , even ISCKON would agree 😊 It is clearly a monotheistic way of thinking, but some of the Hindus still tryna put them into it, just like they do with Buddha, saying he's an avatar or other crap while Buddha himself had stated that he is no God and should not be worshipped.. even Buddhism doesn't believe in a personal God as such, and still many Hindus say that Buddhism is included in Sanatana Dharma.... Hindus even try to claim that the theory of relativity was already "proven" apparently without citing any sources .. simply saying "it's in the Vedas" 😂 Although I must say I do like the Vedas and Upanishads and some of the things written in the Bhagavad Gita

I'm an atheist and Bhagat Singh is my biggest inspiration because of his views on society, vision for India and views on religion. I don't belief in god because I don't find any reason behind my existence and the existence of this universe, I did'nt find any reason in any religious text. We are far smaller than an atom when compared to the Universe and are here by accident. People telling me who I am and defining me according to their views force me to question myself about who I really am and why do I need to give myself so much importance. ईश्वर का प्रमाण दिया है लेकिन इस प्रमाण को तुमने अपने ऊपर अप्लाई नही किया जो चीज तुमने अभी तक खाई ही नही उसका स्वाद तुम नहीं बता सकते अगर दुनिया में लोग बुरा कर्म करते है और इतने सारे दुख है तो दुनिया में अच्छाई भी तो है लोगो के अंदर दया भी है ज्ञान भी है सोचो जरा इतना ज्ञान लोगो के पास कहा से आया कि वो सबके बारे में सोच सके , इतनी भाषाओं का ज्ञान कहा से आया अब ये बताओ तुम जब पैदा हुए तो तो तुम्हारा पेट भरने के लिए मां के दूध कहा से आया मां के के egg और पिता के शुक्र से ही तुम्हे जन्म लेना है ये किसने बनाया अगर इन सबका कारण evolution है तब भी सवाल होगा की evolution क्या ऐसे ही बिनाकरण के है हमारे पूर्वजों ने को ज्ञान प्राप्त किया उसी से हम आज खेती करते है , अपने लिए भोजन का प्रबंध करते है , एक व्यवस्था के तौर पर एक पुरुष और स्त्री शादी करते है , शब्द और भाषा के ज्ञान से हम आज सबकुछ कर पाते है हम इंसानों में ज्ञान बस ऐसे ही आ गया अगर तुम ऐसा सोचते हो की दुनिया मे लोगो के ऊपर अत्याचार होते है और कोई बचाने नही आता तो कोई सुपर पावर नही हो सकती क्युकी ज्यादातर लोग ईश्वर को व्यक्ति की तरह देखते है जबकि वो परम तत्त्व है जो हम सबके अंदर भी है और बाहर भी और कण कण में व्याप्त है जिसके कारण प्रकृति अपना कार्य करती है क्युकी प्रकृति त्रिगुणात्मक है इसलिए अच्छाई बुराई और उदासीनता ये सब गुण प्रकृति से पैदा हुए हमारी चेतना हमारा ज्ञान और हमारे अंदर दया का भाव सब ईश्वर ही है और वो आनंद जिसे पाने के लिए बड़े बड़े अमीर लोगो ने अपने धन का भी त्याग कर दिया जो भौतिक पदार्थोसे नही मिलता जो शाश्वत है वो आनंद भी ईश्वर है हमर मस्तिष्क प्रकृति के गुणों से बंधा हुआ है इसलिए हम हमारे अंदर ईश्वर को नही समझ पाते

I am an Agnostic Atheist ⚛️ because of religious fascism , communal riots , inequality and exploitation of people by their religious leaders in the name of God . I reject all the concept of God presented by the well organized religious institutions because they lack evidence . By saying so , I wanna look down on theist, because I know many wonderful people who believe in God but sometimes they do illogical and irrational things because it was suggested to them by their most "trusted" religious leader. All I want is people start thinking rationally and to de-value religion to some extent to make this happen . I am an atheist just because I was rationalist.... I had questions about rituals and practices and didn't believe in any named God but just a power which controls everything since young age....but had a strong belief in some idea of God.....who fulfils wishes and controls everything..... I used to fast twice for 9 days every year.... bowing down while crossing any temple.... praying and asking for things with closed eyes, joined hands and bowing down when in front of an idol.....but none of the wishes came true.....ever.....not a single one..... even the simple ones So I thought what is the use of all this praying....and after multiple deep thinking sessions..... conclusion made was....how is even that possible that one entity can do everything.....from making it to maintaining it.....if God made all this then he's dead for sure..... otherwise how sadness could even exist....any creator never want their build things to be in bad condition..... thing can be living like us created by our mothers or artificial like an art made by artist (keeping exceptions aside) And if God exists then he/she is really a bad, arrogant and careless, if he isn't so, then he doesn't give a damn about us Believers might call me mean....but they shouldn't....as they pray because of fear of worse and wishing for better only..... The fear of death & what would happen after death are only two reasons why people believe in such superficial things, they're lazy & scared because believing is easier and safer than independently searching truth or not believing something for fake satisfaction.

I am an atheist.
I became an atheist because when I was growing up, in school I started to really getting interested in maths and science and the more I studied the less reasons I found for God, because growing up in a muslim family, all the reasons and stories I heard were either unreasonable or unscientific and it took a little while to completely detach myself with the idea of god, I had issues with the idea of hell even though I became an atheist, but slowly as I kept studying and growing I found myself at a phase where I no longer believed in any god, spirituality or anything supernatural.

Dada I'm an atheist. I was raised in a hindu non conservative family then later on I turned to islam due to some influences on my close one n became more religious n kinda respected God n everything related to it. Down the line when I saw this society then realized there is not sign of any celestial being paving path for human. No one no religious organisation is taking responsibility of those wrong things that are done by religious people in the name of religion.. then I thought it was humans fault but religious books are holy n religious customs are good n give equality to everyone.. then I started reading books from islam Hinduism n even bible .. i found the roots of all evil. It's with in religion n the idea of a celestial dictatorship..if I can praise the matter in the name of god if in a accident a 2 years kid got saved n if it's a miracle then what about at the same time same day hundreds of kids getting birth with blood cancer with fatal physical issues n who can kids die from hunger n lack of water on this earth if god is watching.. whom to blame ?? When it comes to good give credit to god n when it comes to bad then?? Its only our fault ?? What kind of logic is this..

Well, I knew about Bhagat Singh since childhood but when I turned 18, I tried to know more about him. I came to know a lot about him then I came to know about one of his habits. He used to read a lot of books, then first of all I read his books which he wrote. From there I understood things a little. Then I read the books written by him, read the books of his comrades, then I started to understand things. I started moving towards atheism. I read Geeta, read Hindu texts, then I saw a lot of flaws in them. I myself am a Hindu from SC. yes, I saw the differences in those books, I saw that God himself is talking about a particular caste, how can this be, if there was a God then for him we all would be equal, otherwise I believe today that these were very clever kings and emperors of that time who made themselves worshipable, when I read Bhagat Singh, I felt that how can the thoughts of a person be so great in just 22-23 years, then I understood because he had read very great people, I used to read, I should do something like this but times are different I cannot become a revolutionary nor can I become 1000th part of him but I can do one thing. To become great I can read great people. I have adopted this habit of him and today I am 21 years old, but I have read more than 70 books, if not many, and as far as I have heard from people about myself, my thoughts are many years ahead of people of my age and because of this today I get more respect in the society than others. And I would like to say that if you want to become great then I should start reading great people. Adopt their habit.

Came back here after reading the Essay of Bhagat Singh 'Why i am an Atheist', i would highly recommend everyone to read his ideology on religion and the way he has concluded his thought with all the valid arguments.
I think im atheist , reason is all of the existing religions can't give proper and logical answers to questions but i belive in power (entity) that created this universe, by very basics of physics universe created by big bang but there can be something before , that superpower maybe its beyond scope . I'm atheist for many reasons:
1) There is no evidence of existence of a God.
2) Religions are just few thousand years old, while humans came to existence 300k years ago.
3) There're 4000+ religions, and each religion has their own gods and beliefs, so which one is true. This says alot that gods are human made.
4) The death of kids or rape of girl and women are the biggest reason to question the god.
5) Death or torture of innocent beings.
6) Accidents and deaths of people while religious trips and activities, like 2013 Kedarnath flood.
7) If we look around, everything that happens around us has a basic science behind it, there's no chamatkar.
8) If the god or creator exists then who created that creator. There's no point in believing that a creation has to have a creator.
9) If god made us then why he took billions of years to build Earth and why there were dinosaurs lived for millions of years.
10) If god would have exist then he should have come to earth and clearify that he's the real one so that people don't waste time worshipping other religions and gods.
I don't have a single reason to believe in god but I have a thousand more reasons to not believe in god. 🙂

If you're saying that God should be the protector of the creation from all evils, that means that you know somewhat role of God. But I will like to mention 1 more characteristic of "god". Bhagwan ke Ghar Der h, Andher nai. One who is suffering in current life, maybe suffering the deeds of his previous life. It may be any form of cruelty done in previous life due to which one is suffering in current life.

Religion is all about beliefs. Belief by definition can contradicts reality or the truth. So once we say we believe something we accepts ourself that we can be wrong. So religion isn't about truth and we can never know the truth.
I am not athiest nor an beliver in god i dont want anything from god like money ,love, moksha etc and i believe if there is god we cannot understand the concept of it beacause of our human limitations , and i like to live my life on my own consciousness and my thinking and accepts the burden of such choice, i will do what i think right and find the answers to my questions i am still in journey dont know where it ends

I am an agnostic who believes in Advaita Vedanta, i want it to be removed from "Sanatana Dharma" , even ISCKON would agree 😊
It is clearly a monotheistic way of thinking, but some of the Hindus still tryna put them into it, just like they do with Buddha, saying he's an avatar or other crap while Buddha himself had stated that he is no God and should not be worshipped.. even Buddhism doesn't believe in a personal God as such, and still many Hindus say that Buddhism is included in Sanatana Dharma....
Hindus even try to claim that the theory of relativity was already "proven" apparently without citing any sources .. simply saying "it's in the Vedas" 😂

I'm Atheist !! it's not that I was always an theist . I've read Religious scriptures of Hinduism, Islam and Christianity then evolutionary biology, Ancient history and then schools of Philosophy which are about Atheism !! only then I concluded that there's no God and there never can be a God !! People are theist only because they do not want to come out of their comfort zone and they have no guts to raise question against their beliefs because they fear ... They just blindly follow it !! but once people started to question things , a chain of questions will create if you tried to find answer !! everything will become crystal clear.... The thing is I can be good without following any kind of God that means I don't follow or nor heed the idea of heaven and hell. I'm an atheist and Bhagat Singh is my biggest inspiration because of his views on society, vision for India and views on religion. I don't belief in god because I don't find any reason behind my existence and the existence of this universe, I did'nt find any reason in any religious text. We are far smaller than an atom when compared to the Universe and are here by accident. People telling me who I am and defining me according to their views force me to question myself about who I really am and why do I need to give myself so much importance. Plus the views on Bhagat Sing on religion shaped me to become atheist.

मैं खुद को नास्तिक मानता हूं क्योंकि दुनिया का कोई भी धर्म आज तक किसी भी ईश्वरीय सत्ता का प्रमाण नही दे सका है मानव को जीवित रहने के लिए किसी भी प्रकार के धर्म या उपासना पद्धति की जरूरत नहीं है । अगर वास्तव में कोई ईश्वर है तो संसार में इतना दुख क्यों है क्यों लोग मर रहे है बेजुबान जानवरो को मारा जा रहा है क्यों गरीबों का शोषण हो रहा है क्यों धर्म के नाम पर अंधविश्वास फैलाया जा रहा है क्यों धर्म के नाम पर नफरत फैलाई जा रही है अगर कोई ईश्वर है तो वो क्यों ये सब नही रोकता है।
अगर ईश्वर है तो उसने ऐसे संसार की रचना क्यों की जहां इतना अत्याचार है। मेरे अनुसार लोगो को तार्किक और समझदार होना चाहिए । एक समझदार व्यक्ति को नैतिक होने के लिए किसी धर्म की आव्यशक्ता नही है। धर्म के कारण नैतिक बना व्यक्ति किसी काम का नही क्योंकि उसकी नैतिकता लालच पर टिकी होती है उसे स्वर्ग का लालच हो सकता है अगले जन्म में अच्छे जीवन की कामना हो सकती है ऐसे नैतिकता किसी काम की नही है ।
ईश्वर का प्रमाण दिया है लेकिन इस प्रमाण को तुमने अपने ऊपर अप्लाई नही किया
जो चीज तुमने अभी तक खाई ही नही उसका स्वाद तुम नहीं बता सकते
अगर दुनिया में लोग बुरा कर्म करते है और इतने सारे दुख है तो दुनिया में अच्छाई भी तो है लोगो के अंदर दया भी है ज्ञान भी है
सोचो जरा इतना ज्ञान लोगो के पास कहा से आया कि वो सबके बारे में सोच सके , इतनी भाषाओं का ज्ञान कहा से आया

हमारे पूर्वजों ने को ज्ञान प्राप्त किया उसी से हम आज खेती करते है , अपने लिए भोजन का प्रबंध करते है , एक व्यवस्था के तौर पर एक पुरुष और स्त्री शादी करते है , शब्द और भाषा के ज्ञान से हम आज सबकुछ कर पाते है
हम इंसानों में ज्ञान बस ऐसे ही आ गया
अगर तुम ऐसा सोचते हो की दुनिया मे लोगो के ऊपर अत्याचार होते है और कोई बचाने नही आता तो कोई सुपर पावर नही हो सकती क्युकी ज्यादातर लोग ईश्वर को व्यक्ति की तरह देखते है जबकि वो परम तत्त्व है जो हम सबके अंदर भी है और बाहर भी और कण कण में व्याप्त है जिसके कारण प्रकृति अपना कार्य करती है
क्युकी प्रकृति त्रिगुणात्मक है इसलिए अच्छाई बुराई और उदासीनता ये सब गुण प्रकृति से पैदा हुए
हमारी चेतना हमारा ज्ञान और हमारे अंदर दया का भाव सब ईश्वर ही है और वो आनंद जिसे पाने के लिए बड़े बड़े अमीर लोगो ने अपने धन का भी त्याग कर दिया जो भौतिक पदार्थोसे नही मिलता जो शाश्वत है वो आनंद भी ईश्वर है
हमर मस्तिष्क प्रकृति के गुणों से बंधा हुआ है इसलिए हम हमारे अंदर ईश्वर को नही समझ पाते

ईश्वर की कोई परिभाषा नही है,और ना ही कोई उसकी परिभाषा दे सकता है, उधारण के तौर पर समझो, कि जिस व्यक्ति ने सच्चा प्रेम किया है,सिर्फ बही व्यक्ति अच्छे प्रेम को जनता है,बाकियों को अगर वो सच्चे प्रेम की परिभाषा बना भी चाहे तो भी प्रेम को शब्दों में बयान नहीं किया जा सकता।
जिस प्रकार प्रेम को महसूस किया जा सकता , बताया नही जा सकता।
उसी प्रकार ईश्वर को महसूस किया जा सकता,बताया नही जा सकता।
बात रही अत्याचार या फिर बुराई की तो यूं समझो की, ईश्वर नाम का कोई निर्माता इस दुनिया में नहीं है,वो कुछ भी बुरा और अच्छा नहीं करता,यह जो भी बुरा हो रहा है या अच्छा हो रहा है वो हमारे ही किसी कर्म का परिणाम हमे मिल रहा है,कोई ईश्वर तुम्हे नहीं बचा सकता क्योंकि वो ईश्वर जिसे तुम ईश्वर मान बैठे हो असल में वो है ही नहीं तो तुम्हारी रक्षा क्या करेगा।
ईश्वर ऊर्जा ही है,और ऊर्जा अपना रूप बदल सकती है,कभी वो नकारात्मक हो जाती है और कभी वो सकारात्मक।

I am an Agnostic Atheist ⚛️ because of religious fascism , communal riots , inequality and exploitation of people by their religious leaders in the name of God . I reject all the concept of God presented by the well organized religious institutions because they lack evidence . By saying so , I wanna look down on theist, because I know many wonderful people who believe in God but sometimes they do illogical and irrational things because it was suggested to them by their most "trusted" religious leader.
All I want is people start thinking rationally and to de-value religion to some extent to make this happen .
And this is for my Atheist fellows , I do want you guys to complete boycott all religions (festivals) and social gathering (useless they are causing to harm) and live like a lone wolf 🐺. We are social beings and we want someone to share own thoughts and sorrows . Religion became the part of human evolution during the times when humans do not have enough information to explain own reality , so they used to speculate our reality a cause of "super conscious being" , but today we better answers because of science. Lastly do not feel lonely, always remember you are not alone , there exists many undercover atheists in every town and city and I am one of them .

I am an atheist just because I was rationalist.... I had questions about rituals and practices and didn't believe in any named God but just a power which controls everything since young age....but had a strong belief in some idea of God.....who fulfils wishes and controls everything..... I used to fast twice for 9 days every year.... bowing down while crossing any temple.... praying and asking for things with closed eyes, joined hands and bowing down when in front of an idol.....but none of the wishes came true.....ever.....not a single one..... even the simple ones
So I thought what is the use of all this praying....and after multiple deep thinking sessions..... conclusion made was....how is even that possible that one entity can do everything.....from making it to maintaining it.....if God made all this then he's dead for sure..... otherwise how sadness could even exist....any creator never want their build things to be in bad condition..... thing can be living like us created by our mothers or artificial like an art made by artist (keeping exceptions aside)
And if God exists then he/she is really a bad, arrogant and careless, if he isn't so, then he doesn't give a damn about us

I'm atheist bcz major argument of ppl is that who created universe but any scientific person would ask how can u consider universe as a creation bcz the universe originated from singularity and before that there wasn't any time so that singularity could have Existed forever before big bang so the scope of existence of god remains very narrow
And simply there is no evidence for god
