University: You need a degree to be successful. Come here and pay hundreds of thousands of dollars and take a bunch of classes you don’t need or want for a job that doesn’t require any of the classes either and we will give you a piece of paper that MAY help you get a job in a high level company located in a city that you can’t afford to live in even if you get that job.

@@pietrob.9329 here's the difference though: the left tends to base a lot of their opinions on emotions. the right tends to base a lot of their opinions on facts. (it's harder to be biased when using statistics) i don't know how other right wingers do it, but ik for a fact the right wingers i know do their own research. i personally like to look through news sources from both sides of an issue to gather information. a lot of younger left wingers (i used to be one, so this is not me just being an asshole for no reason) follow everything they hear on the media (tiktok, instagram, etc). and most of the times, the shit they're spewing is false or amplified to look worse than it is. ex: the supreme court ruling for roe v wade. people are running their gums on social media without knowing anything about how the supreme court works. republicans do this from time to time as well, but you cannot say it's as bad as democrats. democrats have so many biased sources. even google tends to push left ideology. so, republicans having biased news stations is nothing.

I find that it's actually the right Who Is letting feelings speak because things like gender identity and the exsistence of systemic racism objectively exist. They are facts. But since the right doesn't really want to accept those facts they project their feelings on the left, saying they are the ones who don't listen to facts. Doing your own research doesn't mean that you have all the knowledge: most of the times people already form an opinion and rarely seek information that could prove them wrong. The people who "do their own research" most of the times don't have the knowledge to understand what they are reading nor an objective point of view. You say Google Is left leanining, but you say so because you don't like what Is being said. As I said the left base their opinions on facts. I don't mean to say that people on the left are totally unbiased, no. But I do want to say that accusing the left of not following facts and Always making big deals out of everything Is plain wrong. It's true, people the to exaggerate, especially on social media, but often I see that the concern Is not that unjustified. Taking Roe v Wade example: people were making big deals out of It because It *was and still is* a big deal. Not garanting a choice on a Federal level Is kinda hypocritical for a country that calls themselves "the Land of the free". You can't justify your bias and criticize the bias of your opponents. I don't like bias in general, I look for the truth, even tho I know damn well there isn't one. Bias of any type Is not ok. Again you can't justify your bias and criticize another.
