  • @guiwhiz

The reason the Nuggets were so dominant this year? This one player's passing ability. When your best player is not only able, but WANTS to distribute the ball you cut harder and more frequently getting far better looks right at the rim. Just think of Aaron Gordon. Look at what playing with Joker has done for his career arc. He had turned into a one dimensional player at Orlando. He had lost enthusiasm so his defense was slipping, he wasn't really engaged at all facets of the offense, etc. He comes to Denver and after just a few seasons with Joker the man has turned into a bonafide All-Star and was a critical piece of a championship team puzzle.

I mean... come on man... I've played ball at the PG position all the way through D-1 NCAA and been watching hoop at all levels for decades. I have NEVER seen a pass that eclipses that one for pure skill and audacity. Not Oscar Robertson, Pistol Pete, Bird, Stockton, Magic, JWill, CP3... nobody.
