Usually those compositions use a "happy/neutral expresion" for the "right" side of the character (left on the screen), as the "socially acceptable face" they use everyday towards the world.
Then the "sinister side" is the one "showing their true self" _(..."with [also] my SOUL on display)_ .
In this song, Diamond Tiara is trying to "run away" from her chance of redemption (her "desire" to be "restored back on power" is actually fear to the unknown consecuences of stopping her act as a perfect pony). The "fury" she shows openly to the crusaders suffocates the rising hope of her inner self.

richard mtz. Honestly, I think the mastering here isn't great. I think I cranked the whole thing out with parametric EQ and Maximus.

I use *FL Studio* now, but I started on *LMMS.* I would definitely recommend starting on LMMS to get the hang of things because it's free and easy to learn. If you like it, then I'd consider buying FL Studio.
FL Studio is $99 at the cheapest, but I recommend buying at least the $199 version as it includes Audio Recording & full Playlist features.
As for LMMS, there are plenty of free tutorials and plugins to learn the basics of creating music.

I'm really sorry about that. I mixed this on a pair of very soft & balanced headphones and I didn't have a chance to test it on cheaper pairs. I didn't realize how bright it could sound on some pairs. If you do like the song but the brightness is an issue, I could re-EQ it and send you a special download link. Thanks for your input!
