More great footage. I've visited Sofia twice now but I've always overlooked the Trolleybuses in favour of the trams and Metro. Maybe next time I visit Sofia I'll ride some of the Trolleybuses. Good to see the tunnel two, shame trams no longer run thought it.😊
19:40 The chimes on the public transport in Sofia are identical to some Austrian ones. The first is exactly like the ÖBB chime and the second is exactly like one of the Wiener Linien chimes. Does someone know why it is so?
A very good video with rather old Hungarian Ikarus trolleybus’s, not the kind of public transport I would expect to see in a capital city today. However I see they are being replaced with the very popular Skoda/Solaris trolleybus.
Nice!!! It's really nice to see Ikaruses still going strong. Seems that those old beasts will be working at least for some time. Some of them look modernized, looks like all of them have air conditioners and new seats installed.
Naah....opposite to what the video shows, we only got a handful of those left (maybe in the twenties), mostly on lines 6 and 7. All the rest 100+ have been replaced with the newer, Solaris/Skoda models and another batch of those (30) is coming so Ikaruses are largely going out of service next year in Sofia. None of them have AC currently, btw, but yes some of them got facelifted with new front, seats, low floor section, cameras etc. Our Ikaruses are relatively new though, the ones remaining in service are delivered in late 80s and early 90s and they're still in quite good condition for their age. They're just obsolete and I'm glad they're being replaced soon.
Very nice video ! Thank you. In this video, I don't see the route 11. It's run again ? The 8 trolleybus from Insbruck run again, or they are remove ? 7'50 Nice view.
This is very sad. Looks like, the days of the Ikaruses abroad are counted. In Ploiesti are 3 Ikarus 260 with folding doors, but until the Solaris Buses arrive.
Nit at all. It is prettier than most European capitals and cleaner for sure. Not many big objects like The Tower in Paris but at least we dont have our minorities run us over and polluting everything they touch. In Sofia you can breathe normally cause our air isnt as dirty as the air in the west European countries.
Nice to see this trolleybus still going strong!!
they are indestructible

Прекрасно видеоо🥳😎😀!! Поздрави от България🇧🇬🇧🇬, много се радвам, че сте идвал до тук😀.
When You start a video with the Ikarus then I know it will be fantastic ( like other videos without Ikarus :)) )

Супер клип!
Тези икаруси ги няма вече...
наистина да, жалко е
Why the trolleybus talkier says the lines of the bus and trolleybuses lines with route? On the Skoda 27Tr.
19:40 Why are the chimes identical to the ÖBB’s and the Wiener Linien’s?
:D no imagination use other sounds

Trolleybuses from Insbruck are not in service since autumn 2018. Most of them are probably gone, only 2 of them are left in Iskar depot.
