    He couldn’t plan this trip before or after he had to do something football related? Dude missed the entire season and could have done this. He’s not the only spiritual or religious player in the league. He’s the longest tenured player in the league… so he knows the schedule.
    The Jets could win the Super Bowl next year but if they have a bad season we’re gonna look back at some of the signs and this is one of them.

      As long as Aaron stays healthy the jets have a very high chance of a Super Bowl. The jets are going to be fine if Rodgers can stay healthy the jets scare me this year and I find it funny that people over looking him and them. If Aaron can stay healthy the jets are going to be fine.

      He had this scheduled months before the minicamp schedule was ever released. And again it’s not up to him. He’s not in charge of when the retreat is.

Stop all this caping for a dude whose rep is that he’s selfish and self centered. He didn’t change overnight. Oh and It was not a pilgrimage. He doesn’t claim this as his religion. You can’t say “we need everyone to be 100% all in” and then be the only QB in the league and the only guy on your team who doesn’t show up. I get it. Doing drugs in the woods for your spirit. But you have a job. Football is a job.

    I agree, Julian. I've never had a problem with Rodgers. I like him actually. He just seems like a Cali dude who's maybe a bit arrogant at times, but he at heart just wants to speak his mind at some times and be at peace on other times. I don't understand what this other stuff that Nick is ranting on has anything to do with his play. It's not affected his play in recent memory, so why are we pretending that Rodgers is this super villain that no man should want to be around? That's the narrative and it's complete bullshit 😂

    • @jaxsontuttle4932
      @jaxsontuttle4932 3 месяца назад

      The media hates him and turns it into a story that it’s going to affect the organization blah blah blah. When Aaron Rodgers steps on that field and stays healthy he’s gonna tear shit up and become a problem for the league. I laugh at all the media overreacting about him missing time for these team activities. He’s played in this league for a very long time and is one of the greatest QB’s in this league. Rodgers is gonna show up coming game time and become a problem against any opponent the jets are fine .😂

    • @JWLSports
      @JWLSports  3 месяца назад +1

      Yeah I think the problem is he can come of as arrogant and combative. Especially towards media. So of course they’re quick to yell at him!
      Like even Colin calls him out for not having a good relationship with his family. Like he’s the only one with family conflict. 🤦‍♂️

    I think most people understand that what Roger’s did was for his betterment and that it is something important but but two things can be true at once. He did something that he felt he needed to do to better himself at the expense of his work and team responsibilities. I just don’t believe that since he planned this months in advance that these retreats are just done once a year and that he couldn’t pick a better time to do it. And even if it is the only time he could do it then he did make a choice to put his work and team second. Just because it’s important to him and beneficial for him doesn’t change that fact.

    • @JWLSports

    Any coach in this league would have no worries about Aaron’s game if he missed team activities and practices. They know he’ll show up game time ready to go not a lot of QB’s today can do that other than Mahomes and that’s it. Coaches would say I can count on him showing up game time and he’ll run the offense and make plays to win the game cause he’s Aaron Rodgers.😂

    You can count on one hand the number of players who knew AR personally that have said something negative about him. The media ignores the dozen others who publicly say what a good teammate he is. Hes such a "bad teammate" yet he gets clowned for bringing his buddies to the Jets with him. Bahk, Cobb, Lazard, Jordy, AJ Hawk, Peppers, Mercedes Lewis, Jordan Love etc. All very publicly talk about Rodgers leadership and how he's a great teammate...
    But Greg Jennings doesn't like him and that's always been good enough for them to continue with this narrative that they've cultivated for almost 10 years.
