Hi Varun, I did have a similar inquiry in the past for custom GIFs for a wedding, and they told me that the client would need a brand channel (I cant host the GIFs on my own channel), and so the client would need their own custom domain email address to be able to sign up for one. You can email GIPHY's support for clarification, or you can also have your client sign up for their own domain and custom email for this purpose :) Hope that helps!

I get that brands need to open their own channel, but how about for events? Like custom wedding/birthday gifs or smth like that. Do they need to open a brand channel too. @@husnaghniya I applied for an artist channel. Got the approval email after 26 hours. Sorry I think I used the wrong term. Not 'verified' as in a part of Giphy's verified artist roster. They said it's now for invitation only, not part of the artist application. I'm confused what you meant with the verification application?

The brand account I created was approved and verified with the blue batch in less than 1 week and all the stickers are up and running on Instagram :) I have a question that I hope to get an answer to; I added multiple tags for the stickers, however, the stickers only appear on Instagram when searching for the brand name, not the other tags. I've reached out to Giphy multiple times, but nobody replies... any suggestions why this is happening? Thank you all! 🤗
oh hmm...I've actually been having the same issue too. Or even when I search my username, only some of my Stickers show up, so i've had to type in "@ jecamartinez *insert specific keyword tag*" so I can get to a particular sticker of mine. I *think* it's because there may be so many stickers within the tag that the algorithm only shows some of them? So sorry I can't be of much help! But I feel like it's better that your stickers show up when the username is searched so people can get to it quicker :D

Hi Jeca! I use Procreate to make my stickers/gifs with a 1800x1800 pixels, 300dpi and export with transparent background and 50% alpha threshold in maximum resolution. It looks great but when I upload on GIPHY, it becomes blurred and when I try to use it on instagram, it comes out small and blurry too. How do I fix this? :( Thank you!
Hi Erika! I think it has to do with Giphy's compression. I also have the same issue, and I notice some other Stickers are the same too. I think a good rule of thumb would be to keep the design simple--less details, close ups on the characters if they dont need to be full body, etc. Hope that helps!

Which means I have to create 5 stickers for them and then only they can apply to be an artist channel in order for their stickers to appear on IG. But they only want to buy 1....
Hey Sarah! Yes I believe so :-/ If it's for another person/a client, they would need a Brand account not an Artist account. I also ran into a similar issue with a potential wedding commission so I was unable to make GIF stickers for their event

If you're applying for an Artist Channel you won't need an actual website, even an Instagram or Tumblr or Behance account for your art would do :) Good luck!

Hey Rosalia! Do you mean how to change it in GIPHY? I don't think it's possible to add in a name/title for your GIFs, only tags. And for the frame rate, I think you'll need to go back to your source file and reexport your GIF with a new frame rate if you'd like to change it :D
How to track the engagement of these gifs and stickers. Like people engagement on the brand stickers and gifs uploaded on gify. Can I also track how many people are engaging with them on Instagram, Snapchat, twitter etc.
It would show up in your GIPHY account, how many times your Sticker has been viewed. Im just not sure if "views" also mean "used". Also on Instagram and Facebook, when you click on GIF Search, the first GIFs that show up are usually the trending GIFs at the moment, so that's also a good guauge for your Sticker's popularity.
