How is the fit? I am usually XL but Large for the Ralle Down Parka. However, I read this one fits bigger. Do you recommend one (L as Ralle) or two sizes (M) lower?
It's a bit oversized. If you are between sizes you may try size down for a more tailored fit. I haven't tried Ralle yet but I think L should be fine for you as well. Considering you XL. I am in between Small and Medium so my Therme and Magnus are in Small.
You state in the title “harsh canadian winter” but you live in Toronto? I don’t think you really tested that in real harsh canadian winters, bud. Also not sure why that company calls that a parka, when in fact that’s just technically a long winter jacket. A long jacket should have a fur/synthetic ruff in the hood to be even be considered a real parka. Real harsh winters in Canada, like in northern provinces and the prairies need a fur ruff to be even usable against wind chills trying to blow your face off. It’s not the best, sorry.
Thanks! Now gonna order one for sure
Good choice!
Very nice! From Bangladesh 🇧🇩❤️

Can you put the link of the exact coat you are wearing?
This one is discontinued but the model is still in production

Which therme parka is this?
It's the older version. They had only one Therme back then.
And forever-chemicals?
Oh shut up
moose original stirling parka fur vs CG Expedition Parka vs arc'teryx therme sv parka
The Arcteryx will be the most comfortable and it's also the only one that is waterproof.
My vote for Arcteryx.
@LifeInCanada I just tried one on, a bit too bland and looks like a sack.
