For here in DC, it's not the airport... it's Union Station. They have cuisine all over the building from pizzas to pastas. All of it, top notch before you board the train and set off down the rails. Check it out when you're in the area.
Love my mac n cheese with some color, like orange for cheese, we can do creamy, and have a crunchy topping, but must have flavor running all through there. I think JFK has the best food options because its a big airport compared to LGA, and I used to work at LGA and I know they aint got dip in there!

Airport If the Mac & Cheese had a bit of crunch, but nothing distracting from the smooth & creamy texture of the cheeses, then they did it proper... especially if the cheeses flavors played well off of each other. The whipped aspect of the egg yolk intermixing with the mayo looked like they were pushing it to newer territory. The multi-layered stance on the grilled cheese gives it a sense of seeming like a stacked cake, yet something for the general consumption means. The pseudo-cast-iron containers, though, bumped it strongly up to a higher point. As you know, they retain warmth excellently & don't burn the food WHILE it is retaining the warmth. Hell, that, itself, is something people of yesteryears would be keen to have while they were venturing in foreign territory. So, it is like you really are escaping from your sense of modern normality with merely that type of container. Not just other airports should consider doing that, but even restaurants, too. Hell, how many times have you dined out & something saved for a later part of the meal ended up cooling off before you anticipated it would? EXACTLY!!! Escape seems to help put you in the mindframe of "escaping," just like you're about to do with your trip.
I like lots of cheese sauce and more cheese sprinkled on top that's then been put under the grill to get the cheese nice and crispy. Not sure what Americans call a grill. Broiler?
I had stopped by Potbelly and had their sandwich at Dulles International Airport for the first time and it was off the hook. It’s cheap and their sandwich called “A Wreck” was the tastiest sandwich I ever had.

sdmfsdmfn yea they got good drinks. their name is based off the University of Maryland which mascot is the Terrapin (turtle). gets crazy if your at a Greene Turtle during a terps basketball and football games
