it's absolutely insane how this popped up on my feed. used to watch you 2-3 years ago when i was learning Japanese in the UK and now I also live here! Nice to see a familiar channel after so long.
I am not lying, I've been kind of frustrated in my japanese learning since I took the first JLPT exam (I passed lol). Your videos used to be my cozy backround as I practiced kanji so now 頑張らなきゃならない
Finally, Jasmine, I was always thinking about you and I was replaying old videos. I miss you very much and your motivating videos. I am impatiently waiting for this video to be uploaded. 😭💞
Happy to see you back! I really missed your videos 😊 I'd be interested in a video about the learning activities/methods you did in universality that helped the most with improving your Japanese 😊
YOU'RE BACK! I'm so glad to see you active here once more! I created the habit to check for your videos every once in a while, so I'm glad this time I found something. I'm so excited for your comeback! And congratulations!
I'm glad you're back. I used to love watching your videos. I was hoping you'd post a new one after going to Japan. It was such a long time, I was almost afraid you'd never post again.
OMG you came back!!! I'm so happy. You're the reason why I didn't give up on Japanese yet. Thank you for coming back :) I've been checking your channel for a very long time so that makes me so happy!
I’m the year behind you, I’m at Waseda now coming back to SOAS in September! I am very shy so found it very hard to develop my speaking skills at first but I’m definitely getting there now! I also don’t like going out or drinking so that’s not been an option for me haha. I found for me, going to idol events helped a lot, I made friends and learnt how to use language people actually use because it was connected to my hobbies! I also think it definitely helps when you live in an inner Tokyo area like I do, the city office in Shinjuku was more equipped to deal with foreigners than some others! I had to go through a couple of really difficult medical things and had a much better experience in Japan than in UK. Cheap, accessible and fast! I went to an English speaking female doctor, and she was so understanding and kind. I had to have an MRI done and they literally booked it next day and it’s so cheap with our insurance too. One very good point about Japan I think. Overall I really love it here and plan to return after I graduate! I don’t want to return to London at all but 😢
omg welcome back!! thank you again for being one of the reasons I took the plunge to take BA Korean in the end (actually at the same UK uni as you lmao). I’m now preparing for my year abroad aaaa looking forward to more vids, but also best of luck with wrapping up fourth year if you’re still busy 💖
i subscribed not too long ago and have since learned hiragana well, started katakana last week, reeally excited to see whats been happening on your side!
Jazmine, it's so nice to hear from your again! Can't wait for part 2 as well! Wow, time flies by so fast, are you really graduating this semester? Are you gonna talk about graduation and your plans for what's afterwards in any of the parts? :) really really looking forward to hearing from you, yay! 🎉
i've been following your channel for years im so happy to see you post another video again!! thank you for all the in depth explanations and i'd love an updated video of you speaking in japanese at your current level if that's something you'd want to do 🤍!
very happy that you are making videos again! I really liked watching your study videos when I was preparing to come to Japan. I didn't have a positive experience coming as a Japanese student, I hardly trained in conversation...
Thank you so much for this video!! I'm hoping to study Japanese at uni and do a year abroad, or directly study there and had been eyeing Waseda :) This is the most comprehensive vid I've seen about it so far
Both your attitude and articulate ability make you a good fit as a student for Japan. It was interesting to hear your experience. It's a guess, in any case, I found your apps for learning from the video about your course you did some years ago to be one of the best resources for starting to learn Japanese I've come across, thank you very much for all the help provided.
This video is so helpful to people doing Japanese BA! I’m going in my year abroad this September, how did you improve your speaking and how long did it take you to achieve this level?
Hey! I saw that you're studying at soas university for your degree, would you recommend that university? I've got a place to study Japanese there in September :))
Hi and congrats on finishing your degree! I am actually starting a BA Japanese and Linguistics degree at SOAS in September this year. As someone who is just finishing BA Japanese, have you got any advice? Like any ideas for prep apart from learning Kana as I have been self studying from GENKI for the past 9 months but would still love to hear any advice!
A beautiful, explanatory video about your trip in Japan. You motivate me, but I have a question. You studied for one year In Japan it was promised normally ?🎀👍
I want to move abroad to Japan for my study year and waseda is really my only option but it’s taught in Japanese and English and I don’t know any Japanese realistically 😅
wow after a year finally a new video! we missed you!
So glad you guys are so supportive ❤️❤️
Glad I subscribed just now and not a year ago😂
