I wholeheartedly agree. I understand having such affection towards pets, as I considered my cat (RIP Stella) to be my baby, but why on earth would you want to humiliate your pet with such a stupid costume if you love them?
Animals don't feel humiliation, just like they don't feel satisfaction about being dressed up. www.chron.com/life/article/Experts-differ-on-whether-Halloween-costumes-1609239.php
I agree with Josh! It's completely ridiculous to dress up your pets, there's no rational reason behind it! Unless it's so cold outside that the animal needs to stay warm, then I understand. Otherwise, you're just using your own pet for your own entertainment, torturing it by wearing something it really doesn't want to wear.
I agree with Josh. I did once put a sweat shirt on my golden retriever because we were winter camping and she was shivering. but she chewed her way out of it.
I read somewhere that dogs know when they're being mocked, and I think it's true. When people dress their pets in costumes and laugh at them, it upsets them. Plus, if you really find it funny I think there's got to be some kind of mental deficiency there. It's like laughing at circus animals doing tricks.
That argument about dogs needing to wear sweaters in cold weather is WRONG. I once put a sweater on my dog, and he was miserable in it. Eventually, he took it off on his own. So Josh is correct: for Heaven's sake don't treat animals like human beings!
You tell'em, Josh!! Someone has to stick up for the poor animals. Nothing wrong with a dog coat on a really cold day, but all the fancy stuff - PFFFFFT!!
Couldn't agree more, as with Mr. Groban, I've observed how humans who have animal-companions tend to project their own needs and impose them upon them, that's no fair but anyway that talks a lot about human behavior btw I have had many animal-companions myself but never treated them as if they were my baby-children because though fabulous and caring as they might be, they are not human beings and we should be quieter and more open to learn from their specific kind of frequency to make of us more humane and comprehensive to our other Earth native-brethren as those from the animal kingdom that in most cases were even prior to our appearance upon this evolutionary platform of existence, many thanks for this post º namaste
I agree to an extent. But if you live in a place where it is hot, walking on hot pavement might burn their feet so they need them covered, aka, shoes for dogs. There are breeds that can not handle cold, not even a good, cold winter kind of cold, but ''huh, I'm not even sweating'' kind of cold and they need help with that, aka, clothes. So why not funny ones? But yeah, the people who do that for te fuck of it can just cease to exist.
I'm with Josh on this one.

I agree with Josh Groban 100% here! Respect your animal friend!!
the "i love you" dog is precious and you notice he was UN-clothed!
I didn't know it was possible but now I love Josh even more:)
Josh is right! Animals are not humans! Some people can't make that distinction.
With Josh 100% on this one.

Cats definitely do and they really hate it
Agree with Josh. Something for warmth is appropriate but beyond that, it's just degrading to the animal.
No, I agree completely with Josh. I can't stand when people do that! GO JOSH!

No I agree with Josh, it's annoying seeing those poor animals dressed up and annoyed with costumes. GO JOSH
