Lol Katniss is in no shape or form a slytherin, people used her and most times she never realized it. Her talents were physical and that's it. Her house is most likely gryffindor or hufflepuff. I repeat.
Stop complaining your heroes are gryffindors. Heroes tend to be gryffindors. XD

Katniss is Gryffindor, I'll even take Hufflepuff. But you're completely delusional if you think she's Slytherin. She has no ambition. Her talents are purely physical. Most of the time she didn't even know she started a revolution let alone wanted to lead one. A lot of people warned her about Coin before she killed her sister. Snow had to explain to her why her sister died and who would benefit from it. Katniss was the most powerful chess piece. She never attempted to take or use her power. In the end, she kinda just faded away. She's not a Slytherin, nothing about her is Slytherin. Her even being in the Hunger Games was her sacrificing herself for her sister.

No Katniss is a Gryffindor
Katniss could easily be sorted into any house besides raven claw, but I do personally believe she is a griffindor. She fits well into griffindor because she is brave and courageous, without a main goal or ambition. You could argue she had the goal to save everyone however, she did want to runaway with her family/friends and leave everything behind. She fought out of loyalty, so you could say she’s a Hufflepuff, but griffindors also tend to be loyal, and she is a little violent and vengeful to be a Hufflepuff.

Leia as Slytherin is SUCH an interesting concept, but I don't see it AT ALL. She lead and continues to lead a whole revolution, she sacrificed her home planet for the her cause, she fights even when the stakes are stacked against her, rallies people behind her, risks her life for a cause and the freedom of a whole galaxy. In a way she's the most Gryffindor of all the the Star Wars characters. It's been a while since I watched the original trilogy, but there would be no revolution and no hope without her. She comes through tragedies blazing. In my opinion she's the real hero of the story but that in particular doesn't nessisarily make her a Gryffindor, so maybe? All the houses or more complex than we give them credit for, so I understand the opinion. All in all interesting concept. But Katniss is for sure a Gryffindor--ready to rush into battle, ready to save everyone, ready to sacrifice for her family (which we see can be a Slytherin trait, for sure), but for sure Katniss doesn't have the cunning (she had advisors, but I've never read the book, so my knowledge is certainly limited), and for sure she's brave as hell, which is basic for Gryffindor.
