- Downtown Atlanta is the central business district of Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The largest of the city's three commercial districts, it is the location of many corporate or regional headquarters; city, county, state and federal government facilities; Georgia State University; sporting venues; and most of Atlanta's tourist attractions. It measures approximately four square miles, and had 26,700 residents as of 2010.[2] Similar to other central business districts in the United States, it has recently undergone a transformation that included the construction of new condos and lofts, renovation of historic buildings, and arrival of new residents and businesses.
Geography
Downtown is bound by North Avenue to the north, Boulevard to the east, Interstate 20 to the south, and Northside Drive to the west. This definition of Downtown includes central areas like Five Points, the Hotel District and Fairlie-Poplar and outlying inner city neighborhoods such as SoNo and Castleberry Hill.
The Atlanta Downtown Improvement District (ADID) organization, though, defines a much smaller downtown area measuring just one and two tenths square miles. This area is roughly bound by North Avenue to the north, Piedmont Avenue and the Downtown Connector to the east, Martin Luther King Junior Drive, Courtland Street, and Edgewood Avenue to the south, and the railroad tracks to the west. This area only includes the core central business district neighborhoods of Fairlie-Poplar, Five Points, the Hotel District, Centennial Hill, and South Downtown.

Atlanta is a nice city but when it comes to foot traffic it's very boring. It's not too many places you can casually walk and see crowds of people walking in Atlanta. Before he said it was rush hour I thought it was a Sunday evening because it looks so dead.
Midtown is where all the residents live with high population density. Downtown is mostly offices and Georgia state students not much residential but that should change with the multi billion dollar centennial yards project. There should be a big buildup of residential. If you want to see foot traffic in Atlanta you go to midtown and the east belt line.
They are getting off work on the train/buses /driving trying to get home, now when he gets up around Peachtree center it can be a lot of traffic of people and people driving around there
bro passed different walking dead s1 filming locations
I'm from Atlanta
Salute... ☮️🙌
It not like your Midwest walking city, it doesn’t have alley way and byways Ivan go through, so that what’s make it hard, but it a beautiful city..❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
As i growed up i always wanted to travel Atlanta to go eat its history amazing😃😃😃😃
I remember walking all over when i lived in downtown Atlanta 20 years ago i still remember all the stuff that used to be on Peachtree St. I see it is still cleaner than our downtown LA. I still remember when the Underground was open . Oh wow Equitable Bldg is now World Champion.
We Love Atlanta from Iran 🇮🇷❤️🇺🇲
Great tour. I've been curious to see what it really looks like in Atlanta's downtown area.
The way you pronounce some of the streets is funny but it’s pretty neat to see you tour the city! I live 40 minutes North East of Atl in the countryside but I work all over Metro Atlanta and surrounding cities, pretty cool city just really populated.
Deck-ah-ter (Decatur).
Yes! It's pronounced DE KA TER. Not DE CE TER!

Are the trees still that green in Atlanta`, was the video made right now in November? Always wanted to go to Atlanta because of the amazing architecture with John Portman's buildings and all greenery. Surprised to hear no sirens of emergency vehicles as in most American cities through the whole video.
Atlanta is not really a live bustling city like Chicago, Toronto or a NYC.
GP Stands for Georgia Pacific. That's their headquarters. They're considered the world's leading makers of tissue, packaging materials, pulp, and building products.
The GP building is the Georgia Pacific Tower. Georgia Pacific is a pulp and paper company, the world's largest supplier of toilet paper, tissue, paper, and so on.
Thanks for dropping that knowledge
It looks quiet, but that crime element is right around the corner.
Great City, but the worst for driving, hands down. There's definite anxiety when approaching atl in a car. Lots of people purposely drive an hour out of the way to avoid it. Not to mention the foreboding signs displaying traffic fatalities on the way in.
I use to live in Atl for 20 years and I worked I security down peachstreet I attented Atlanta tech and I worked at Buckhead
Alove United states yes ATL
I worked for The Western peachtreeplaza hotel
nawl cuz i love the enegry
Downtown is dead
As a resident I was disappointed- you stayed in the south end of downtown. You missed many of downtown’s best attractions. The building with the gold dome is the state capital not a church. Maybe next time do the north end of downtown. The aquarium, African American museum, Olympics park area. The structure you did not recognize was the Olympics torch that was moved from Olympics park. The one Muhammad Ali lit.
I can walk only but so fast within 1 hour I am human. Here’s the driving version. ruclips.net/video/5JT2357qRg0/видео.html

Just recently came across your channel and I’m really enjoying watching your vlogs and the commentary that you do along side. As a subscriber from the UK, watching this through your camera lens is the only way I get to see a true, up close and personal view of these city’s. Thanks for your effort in making daily life a little more tolerable/interesting. Just everyone’s daily life through a lens. Looking forward to watching more on your channel - stay safe 🎥👣🇺🇸😊

Yes London does have a ferris wheel. The London Eye, or the Millennium Wheel, is a cantilevered observation wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. It is Europe's tallest cantilevered observation wheel, and is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom with over 3 million visitors annually.

Nice tour
Tell me more about the Peachtree St named after the building.
Peachtree St is the main Street in Atlanta. We actually have several Peachtree Streets. But the actual Peachtree street he is referring to is the center of the city that runs for miles throw downtown, midtown, and buckhead linking entire downtown. Most of the foot traffic in the city is based around that street in the heart of downtown.
hello there Brandon Delon Casey and Brian Casey
Do some video on downtown houston and Dallas
Sounding deep Brooklyn.enjoy
👋🏼
thanks for the tour... lots of buildings out of business..pretty desolate as well.
it covers a lot of area, this is a drop in the bucket. That said, most of the businesses are spaced out as well so it does appear that way.
I like how you share details in your video and how you say each street you walk down. Thanks for sharing.
It's pronounced DE KA TER. Not DE CE TER!
Downtown ATL is so dirty.
