@@coleworld18 I have loved my comp M5. It’s been a great red dot. But I love the T2 as well. You can’t go wrong with either one. Main difference is the compM5 runs a AAA battery. I think the compM5s just has the battery compartment in a different spot, but basically the same thing.
@@eddyramirez6924 As far as 6X goes, the only one I’ve used personally is the Aimpoint 6X. In my humble opinion it’s not worth the cost. The Aimpoint is like $1300 & the eye relief is awful. An Eotech G45 (5X) is $550. The Eotech is compatible with Unity FTC Omni mount & Aimpoint is not. I believe Vortex just released a 6X but I haven’t had a chance to use it. Same with Primary Arms. Sorry, I know that’s not very helpful. I think this Unity 4X is a good option, because once you’re getting up to 6X magnification I’m of the opinion that I’d probably rather just run an LPVO. Better clarity & eye relief than magnifiers.

@@Thomas-vt7cz It is made in USA, so I’d say you’re correct about the correlation to price, but I’d have to say you’re incorrect about being less quality & function. This is perhaps the highest quality & most functional magnifier on the market.

Holosun is rolling out new products all the time. As far as this Unity 4X goes, it certainly seems like it could be one of, if not the best magnifier out… but it’s too early to speak to durability & reliability. Although I think it will get top marks on both.
It’s not just the fact that it’s made in the USA that makes it (approx) $650, although that is certainly part of it. Other factors that contribute to the price are the materials (this is made of 7075 T6 aircraft grade aluminum and probably Japanese or German glass) where the chinesium airsoft counterfeits that will inevitably follow will be made of recycled aluminum cans, or (at best) 6061 aluminum. 7075 is far more durable than 6061, but that also makes it more difficult to machine. So your tools wear out quicker and each item requires more machine time than they would if they were being made of an inferior alloy like 6061. Then you have the Class 2 Type 3 hard anodized finish that Unity uses. Again, more corrosion resistant and much harder than the type 2 anodizing that the chinesium clones will get. See where I’m going with this?? I haven’t even mentioned the costs associated with creating and developing a totally new product that nobody has ever made before. You have numerous prototypes, marketing, and all kinds of other costs that Unity has to cover when they develop a product like this. Then the company and employees still need to make a profit on the damn thing. You expect to get this cool high speed shit for free huh??
