    I don’t think I would have ever sprayed black on top. Very cool color blending!

    They look great, but whenever mixing candies you should use a bleedchecker

    • @lureblanks
      @lureblanks  Год назад

      Thanks Thomas! Not to break your comment down but I am "fact checker" kinda guy, and you did make me question this, in a good way! So I did some digging, consulted some friends who are professional painters and turns out you do not need an intercoat between candies, candies only bleed out on non catalystic paints/ pigmented paints. It does bleed a tiny bit on each other but being both transparent dyes, this is not going to be that visible, it rather makes nice transitions or a nice smooth blend. And because i am using black on top of another color it would not make sense to use a midcoat, because bleeding colors into black are not visible, black is black and will stay black 😊
      Here is also an exempel of createx professionals doing this themselves, spraying multiple candies on top of each other to create nice blends and transitions (mixed with 4050 and not 4040) without the use an mid coat or intercoat= ruclips.net/video/Js0_QbuKjMQ/видео.html

      @lureblanks I understand, technically you don't have to do anything, like you can spray candy straight out of the bottle without a carrier but on the other hand they make these products for a reason so ......
      On another note..add a green tint to a silver then spray candy dirt track brown and watch it go chocolate

      @Thomas Delaney That's a nice color idea! I have to give that a try! Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge here 🙏! I did some experimenting in the past as well with candy2o and 4050, turned out that 4050 is pretty stable and often prevents bleeding on itself. 4040 was designed a long time before 4050 came out. And some professionals that I know found out that blending 4050 in your candy2o is enough to lock down the candy dyes, meaning you don't need 4040 anymore, and 4050 does a 2 in 1 job 👊 I even have it on video where i use candy2o blood red and go over it with opaque white, expecting it to bleed a little because that was what I wanted, but it did not happen 😊

    What kind of straight wire do use we are plugs. And what length You buy it in thank you Ralph

      I don't make these myselve, but lure wire can be bought in several places online. Look for an rust resistant springy wire. Thickness depends on your lures and the length as well 😉

    Hi! excellent work, but when you us Candy2o black, did you add 4050, 4011 and thinner?

    • @lureblanks
      @lureblanks  Год назад

      Thank you! I mix the candy2o with 4050 and 4011 ( 4011 is the thinner) The ratio depends on what i want to achieve. Do i want the black to be very transparent i will use only 1 drop and a lot of 4050. If i want it really dark then i use more candy2o. The 4011 is just to thin out 4050 a little so it because easier to spray 👌

      @@PfeifferFishing Shipping to Canada depends on the weight but for only some foils and light products it is around 8$ 👍 sometimes it does take a while to get there depending on the local postal services 😊😉
