Hello, do you know how to do a complete reset? I installed one and after a year it stayed with the fixed toyota logo and it does not start, I tried the manual reset button with a paper clip, it restarts but the problem continues, thanks for your help!
I bought my 4Runner with this already installed, but recently the touch screen has stopped working at the left corner and on the home and back button. Any idea what could have happened or how to fix?
I just got it installed. Do I need the ext microphone? If not does the whole thing have to come back out to remove it? Or you think I can cut it where it’s coming out.. I just don’t like how it looks.. thanks for the video btw
Hard to tell you at the moment is been a while since I’ve done the install, what I recommend is looking through the wires again. Everything had a spot, my sub is working fine
Nice video. Where did you end up mounting the antenna and gps. I have the new t10 v3 and I just put them behind the radio. But im sure theres a better place to mount them. Thanks in advance

normally i dont have control of my rear heater and im not sure if any 4runner can control the rear. it comes on automatically when i turn on the front facing vent
hey i was wondering if the wireless apple carplay thingy comes with the purchase or do i have to order one myself? and if i do what would you recommend for me 2011 4runner SR5
Does it sound the same or better than the factory? I installed the Dasaita 10.25 and it sounded terrible. My subs weren't hitting the same and overall sounded distorted when i turned it up. I played with the eq but it still wasn't as loud or full as the factory unit. Im looking to purchase the T10 if it holds a better quality sound.
Sounds pretty good to me, have to play w the equalizer. I only turned it up about 25% and I’m getting way more bass in the front, going up 100% distorts things
I know this is an older video, but I'm thinking about buying a T10 and finally accepting that it's probably the best value head unit for the 4R. Question though... I've heard others complain about their polarized sunglasses blacking out the T10 screen. Did you experience this as well?
Are you ordering from CTH or somewhere else? I ordered from Hamilton and I couldn’t even get a straight answer on when it would actually ship. Then called a day later and they said they were out of harnesses so they’re just cancelling the order 🫠
Just installed this head unit in my 4runner. How to I hook up my iPod shuffle? I have the USB port and it is plugged in. I just don’t know where to go in the head unit to click it on and make it play

@@ikigaidriven I have one in hand, there is no number. Just that it is made of ABS on the back.. Now to go find some screws to hold it in as they are tiny.
@@ikigaidriven from the instructions I received the the only antenna was for 4G. ( which I didn’t have in my delivered goods) But if you can provide a video and link to show how to allow to pick up AM/FM radio I would greatly appreciate it.
@@ikigaidriven I moved out and bought my m6 and Tacoma. Im far from loaded just yet, just putting money aside into savings and dumping the rest into my tacoma 😂. I found a local guy that owns a company near my shop. He hooked me up with bolt on hrew sliders from warfab for $550. Haven't pulled the trigger because the trails i go to dont have many rocks so i bought a rooftop tent instead 😂. We should set up a day to come visit Matt and me so i can take you to some trails my friends and i go to. Gotta get your moneys worth out of the 4runner

That same year 29JUN19 I went and ordered the T9 and on 12APR21 T10-4/64 and 18MAY21 T10-6/128. Also, T10-6/128 for the Tundra in Feb2021 and lastly 20NOV21 Tacoma T10-6/128. Sevag is honest, no bs guy with lots of passion for what he finds and quality checks them and constantly making sure if the products are shit. He will stop the factory cause that's HEART. No, man will sacrifice and go out on a limb for us like him.

Wireless apple carplay is via Bluetooth, and it also comes with a dongle with you want to use plug in apple car play

Does your phone need to be plugged in to work(appleCP) or is it Bluetooth?
You can do either or I use the wireless option via Bluetooth

Now that you've had it for a while, have you had any issues or quirks come up? Seems to be hit or miss for some people.

Yes it retains oem reverse cam function
Does it have AM radio? I heard the T9 didn't.
Finally tested it, it has AM. I usually just use the apple car play sorry for the delayed response

I back has 2 slots but I believe you just need a different harness to support even more
