- In mid-June, Ryanair took delivery of its first two of 210 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. The two jets came in the well-known blue and yellow Ryanair livery. However, this will soon change, with aircraft expected to be delivered to the carrier in three different liveries. Let's find out why!

I'm most excited for Malta Air, because finally you can fly "Ryanair" without the horrible yellow interior!
Fly with them next week haha
Ha, yes, you sort of feel like you're in a container ship's life boat given the colors.
@@VisibilityFoggy Yes, or more like "Lidl is in the Air"
@@sebbivism prices are way too high for Lidl. And also the water isn't as good (at least compared to the German Saskia)
Is very beautiful yellow
I used to fly out of an FBO at this airport (you can see it in the picture) and always wondered what “buzz air” was and why it said by ryanair on them. But now i know so thanks.
All these ppl hating on Ryanair…you get what you pay for. You shouldn’t expect to fly in a private cabin while paying less than €20!! A ticket on Ryanair costs less than a taxi ride in my country. Also the Malta Air design looks pretty sleek.
Exactly. I paid £5 exactly for a flight to Dublin with them
@@itzhxrry2915 £5?? You were robbed, I once paid 2p for a Ryanair flight from Luton to Cracow! 😄
@@andybaker2456 when? That’s so cool ngl
@@itzhxrry2915 oh it was a fair few years ago now, at the time Ryanair often did offers like that, 1p each way plus taxes. Not so common for them to offer fares that low these days though. 😔
I would want Ryanair to pay me for having to look at that yuk bile yellow interior & they couldn’t pay me enough to board a 737 max .It doesn’t matter about the livery on the exterior as you don’t have to look at it whilst flying ,nor will you see the livery on a 737 max when buried into the earths mantle .
The Malta Air livery really looks nice!!! 😍
I agree, however it looks a little like Delta Airlines decals on some of their aircraft.
@@graythewolf6096 what do you mean exactly?
The Air Malta's (the flag carrier) is even nicer.
Ryanair: oh really? Well, you will pay a 50 euros fee for the “premium look”.
@@danielaramburo7648 lmao
Malta Air looks nice. I can't help wondering how many will get confused between Air Malta and Malta Air though, and try to check in for a Malta Air flight at an Air Malta check-in desk etc etc. 🤔
Agree, the 8 pointed cross shall confuse passengers. I wonder what the members of the chivalric, Knights of St. John, will say when their cross be used by a Low Cost, low class airline.
@@josephmifsud7279 Ryanair Group no doubt has made this decision on purpose to think you are flying with Air Malta full service airline, LOL, Surprised Malta has not kicked up some dust on the Cross etc.
@@groovefam Malta Air is a partnership between Maltese government and Ryanair - low cost complement to to full service Air Malta. I wish they would have gone with a less confusing branding though
You do not check in for Malta Air flights, its all Ryanair
@@heybenjii5544 You still have to check in for Ryanair flights, you just either do it online for free, or pay to do it at the airport. Besides, whether you're checking in at the airport or not, if you've paid for hold baggage, you still have to drop that off at a desk which could still lead to Malta Air passengers trying to give their baggage to Air Malta.
Finally, some variations of hard landings coming!
hopefully hard landing and not crashing, it's about 737 MAX and Boeing we are talking about
@@something2664 lmao
People still find this joke funny?
I never laughed at these jokes at the start
Worst attribute: no Corona protection 😤 forget the colors Etc!!!
I just find it really confusing that there's "Malta Air" now, when there's already "Air Malta" that's been operating since 1973. That said, the livery looks quite nice.
Malta is mostly a middle class country so Ryanair is quite popular
I'm very excited for the Buzz livery!🎉
Will Malta and Buzz feature the classic Ryanair municipal bus-style interiors as well? Otherwise all 3 liveries are quite nice in their own special ways.
Most certainly yes, it’s the Ryanair Group after all 😅
Yes they all have the same concept, except for Malta Air is replacing the yellow details with red instead. Buzz and Ryanair has both the same interior.
@@sebbivism buzz is replacing the blue parts with black
hopefully they don't Land hard just like the old Ryanair
@@kyruzarnejo7472 All that fresh paint is likely to fall right off onto the runway.
Couldn’t care less about the colour. It’s a safe, comfortable, value for money flight that I am more interested in.
love 'em or hate 'em you gotta admire them.
Definitely Ryan Air I have flown with this company many times and can’t fault it .
The Malta Air looks very nice! Looking forward to see some
Seems like a generic "Ryan Air Group" livery would've made the most sense
no. These separate brands are a great idea.
Aircraft regularly fly over at around 2000 feet and I was surprised to see a 737 with the Malta Air livery.
My first reaction was it was RyanAir then I realised it was the Wrong Colour and the tail was different!
Anyone who understand a little about colour perception and distance will know that colour washes out the further away it is.
the Malta air livery looks very nice.
A Malta Air 737 Max was parked on the apron in Dublin on Monday morning
The buzz max aircraft is on my channel. I captured it last week at my local airport!
All of them looks nice for me.. But buzz bee on the tail looks cute
Malta Air are probably the main planes based in Prague and it seems to me a far more elegant livery than Buzz or Ryanair... New planes are welcome though as some are showing their age
Don't they have the youngest fleet in the world?
The prague base is a Buzz base
The Buzz Airlines is the most fun of the 3, so that's what I'm looking forward to seeing in the air :D
I took a gliding unnecessary 2 hour long Malta Air flight recently between marseille and nantes and made sure ot was not a 737-max return trip only took just over an hour.
Buzz also belongs to KLM as well :D
But malta air looks great
KLM sold the Buzz brand to Ryanair in 2003. - TB
Interestingly, if you ever look at the air stairs on the -800s you’ll see the old Ryanair logo, it’s never been changed to the current one.
I noticed this as well and have been wondering why for so long. But finally on the 737 MAX, the stairs are completely blank and clean 👏
To the peeps complaining about Ryanairs yellow interior, almost half their fleet has already a new white blue interior since 2014. So you have 50% chance to fly with the old design hehik!
another amazing video as always :)
I’m excited 😊 to see the Buzz 🐝 livery paint job because I think it looks really cool 😎 and would be a good way to attract tourists to hop on.
it really does
All dumbed-down.?.Corona protection is ZERO
The Buzz Livery reminds me everytime i see it, on "Honey Airlines" from the Game Airline Tycoon 😂😂
Ryanair should use the market place for negotiations & not rely on Boeing to make a move.
This notion that it is best to stream line to one plane maker is outdated, bearing in mind that AirBus has one of the best European support network.
I really like the Malta air livery out of all
Buzz because it is giving me a smile
I actually like the Malta Air livery :) Let's hope the interior looks good as well.
I love it! - TB
Buzz air looks sick
I don’t understand why they don’t just use a single brand and company. Having multiple legal entities must have additional costs hiring accountants and lawyers. Ryanair are a tried and trusted brand who inherently keep overheads to a minimum, so I don’t understand why they have all these subsidiaries. Note… Lauda is pronounced “louder” not “lorder”.
Malta Air was created in cooperation with the government of Malta. If I remember correctly most staff in Italy and most planes based there are actually Malta Air.
I'm not sure why they started Ryanair Sun which became Buzz by Ryanair.
here in italy the 70% of daily flights are operated by Malta Air which has its major hub in Milan Bergamo BGY
Lauda pronounced louder, named after the F1 driver \m/
Wie heißt die Mutter von Niki Lauda?
So, they have a few aircraft made properly then. Me no go boing boing boing!
Lauda was a great great great and innovative F1 driver
@@CarstenCzaja Elisabeth 😜🤣
Will there be differents in the cabin, except from the colours? Both Ryanair and Malta Air seems to have 197 seats in the MAX.
Seats will be the same across the entire fleets (for each respective aircraft type)
Buzz and ryanair will have same seats, Malta will feature red seat backs not yellow
buzz looks fun
buzz livery looks the best
Thank you..
Malta Air, because I like the red 8 pointed Maltese cross on the tail.
I wonder if this affects the brand recognition.
People might assume they are different airlines if they don't know that they're all part of the same group.
i think thats the whole point of it, so people think they aren't flying on ryanair, when really they are
I recently walked by the Boeing Renton Plant and saw several 737 Max airplanes with the BUZZ livery.....I was wondering where they were going.. now I know....
All three liveries look amazing!! Can’t wait to fly on one of Ryanair’s MAX sometime in the future. Sad to see Ryanair getting so much hate though…
Not sure Ryan are hated, it's their choice of 737 MAX that isn't liked and unfortunately they do have reputation for hard landings.
Truth hurts Ryanair should be grounded
@@christopherczajasager9030 for what?
Now they’re regularly flying Buzz from Krakow.
Ryanair I rly want to go on it
Malta Air.
Because I currently live in Malta.
I like the buzz livery myself
will the interior be the same on malta air, buzz air and ryanair?
They won’t have seats on buzz and Malta air To expensive
Jk
The interior on Buzz is the same as Ryanair, but for Malta Air the interior is red instead of yellow = the back of the seats are red.
@@sebbivism how do u know lol
@@flysmilerepeat8742 Pictures has been leaked from one of the Buzz aircraft that is currently in possession of Boeing, showing the interior is the same as Ryanair except for the Buzz logotype on the walls in the back. I would like to see a model of the malta air 737

Didn't know about lauda and buzz, guess I'll avoid those airlines too!
At least Lauda has A320 aircraft.
I avoid klm arrogant crew
I've only flown Ryanair once from Manchester to Latvia, it wasn't a bad flight I don't know why they have such a bad reputation. They sell some of the cheapest flights so I wouldn't expect luxury.
That Malta Air looks sleek, but I'm surprised Air Malta didn't file an injunction.
That buzz livery could have been so so so much better
The video said 5 airlines in the group, but only 4 were discussed.
Ryanair UK is the fifth airline of the group but not mentioned since it's really just a Brexit workaround.
Yeah, Ryanair UK was missed, like mel816 said. They’re painted in the regular Ryanair livery but have a British registration code. It was pretty much the same with Ryanair Sun before it was rebranded to Buzz!
I hate to say it, but I've always thought the Ryan livery is sharp. About the only thing that airline has that I love (other than price)...
Nothing special...
Hope you had your vaccinations before flying on this dangerous carrier
@@christopherczajasager9030 dangerous? It’s never had a crash in its entire history 🤣🤣🤣 it’s actually one of the safest airlines in the world

Even before the pandemic I wasn't flying Ryanair anymore. The service is terrible and I had horrible experiences enough times. The new 737 Max fleet only reinforced that decision.
T H E most negligent carrier quality Corona protection!
I would never step foot onboard a 737 Max ever! Your much safer on an Airbus.
You're*
Like you'll know what you're flying on until you actually board 🤣
I'm most excited for Buzz, because I'm from Poland☺️
I really do not understand why they are doing this. Each individual airline (ex Lauda) exists purely for legal reasons, rather than the need to differentiate brands/products etc. Unless they're going to pursue such differentiation, they might as well keep all branding as "Ryanair" since its well-known and established.
They are doing it exactly to make up new brands separated from Ryanair. If I remember correctly they had some very bad customer service feedback and big complaints, so a new brand is what they can offer 😐 I am really not amused. I never liked Ryan and will probably never like Buzz with a lively made by a 5 years old.

BUZZ
Probably because of the different subsidiaries
is Malta Air and Air Malta the same airline?
No. Air Malta is its own airline. Malta Air is part of Ryanair 👍

Malta Air has a nice, clean, and simple livery but I think Buzz has the best out of the 3.

I am not interested in the Colour Scheme or Livery of the Aircraft, I am more concerned that Ryanair starts purchasing Airbus A.320 Aircraft as that are not only the best Aircraft on the market for his Airlines need they have a far better safety record, I feel it is only price that prevents Mr. O Leary from purchasing Airbus Tomorrow.
They only have the 737 in their fleet, they’re far from ordering Airbus and are probably, together with Southwest, the last airline I would think of when thinking about airlines ordering Airbus
Would have preferred if the red was extended to the tail in the Malta Air livery
