That was perfect!! He was galloping or what? I couldn't really tell from the helmet cam. You guys did great!! It was really smart of you to get him familiar with the course and different obstacles. Keep up the good work! I commented before I finished the rest of the video from how good it was!! Ooooiiffffffff that fall must have been bad, I know falling all happens too quickly but next time try curl up and roll to not take the full impact on your shoulder. Are you ok btw?
Nope just a canter, she's just fast! She was fantastic 😁 Haha thanks. I normally try to but there was no time and with her falling on me I don't think it would have made much difference! I was a sore for a while but no real damage done 😊
what a harsh bit... please tell me why do you need all of that. And his head is swinging up and down the whole time. Jesus you have like 10 tie downs on that poor horse.
1) It's a combination bit, it's kinder than a gag or a pelham. I'd rather have a stronger bit and use it lightly than pull her head off in a snaffle. 2) Have you ridden this horse? Do you know that she has a tendency to bolt and is incredible strong and fast? 3) Were you there on that day, do you know the exact circumstances? Do you know that this horse has put numerous people in hospital? 4) She headshakes from excitement and from having a neurological disorder. Besides, she barely headshakes in this? 5) There isn't a single 'tie-down' on her. She has a breastplate with a running martingale, and then a leadrope attached which is mandatory in TREC rules so that you use the leadrope when doing led obstacles not the reins. But please, do continue to tell me about my own horse with uninformed opinions and incorrect ideas?
BlackDove You say that you aren’t pulling her face off but you are 100 percent of the time. The only time you aren’t hanging on her mouth is over the jumps and thats not even often.. Whatever your right I wasen’t there and I din;t ride her. But it looks a lot different on the camera then the way you are explaining it.
@@keequestrian7442 you realise from a GoPro angle everything is distorted? You can't even see her mouth or my hands in the picture so how the hell would you know anyway. Getting very fed up of people thinking they know everything about 6 years of a horse/rider partnership from a 4 minute video! Get a life, ride a horse!
BlackDove I own three horses know it all. I’ve owned one of them for 7 years and the other two for 3 years now. why don’t you look In the thumbnail of this video.. tell me you an’t see your hand
@@keequestrian7442 a thumbnail is just that. A snapshot in time. Guess what, it was while walking through water with super loose reins. Fabdeewhoopedeedoo for you, why don't you spend more time riding them than being a keyboard warrior?
