My Cochlear Implant - Cochlear Kit Unbagging

My 1st ever unboxing/unbagging video. Camera angle all wrong but you can still see all the goodies I got with my Cochlear Kit.
Still working on correcting the captions for this one. It's a bit harder when I can't read my own lips.

This is pretty much what my hubby got this month. It’s now 9/2022, 5 years since this video.
Also a tv streamer and a mini microphone. The bag was heavy. So far, he is hearing better. Not 100%, but improved. Hopefully, he will continue to improve.

I know only a little about auditory neuropathy spectrum disorder; my understanding is that as the sounds are not correctly traveling from the cochlear to the brain, a cochlear implant would not be a solution. The cochlear implant stimulates the nerves within the cochlear, where as with ANSD, the signal is not being correctly sent from the cochlear to the brain. As I said though, I have limited knowledge of ANSD so my advice would be to seek the opinion of a specialist.
