I really wish we could send you stuff so we could share a bit of America with you. Most of us have a very generous spirit and would love to shower you with gifts of all sorts as a Thank You for all of the hours of entertainment you've provided. You make me smile.

It started at the Starbucks drive thru. The Puppuccino is something you request for your dog at the drive thru. It is a small paper cup with some whipped cream inside for your dog. At this point every drive thru coffee place has them and they are FREE!

The faucet has whats called a mixing valve inside of it. That valve has 3 inlets, 1 for hot water, one for cold, and 1 for the mixed temperature waters. Instead of separate faucet handels there is one lever. Move that lever to the left and you release hot water, too hot? Easy peezy, move to the right to add a bit of cold water to the mix. release

The faucet lever moves in two directions. Usually forward and backward adjust the pressure. Left and right adjust temperature.

Many places with drive-thru's have treats for the dogs. The bank I go to hands out dog biscuits. Several drive-thru restaurants give my dog a plain cup of ice cream. A pupachino is what Starbucks gives if you have a dog in the car. All of this is free.

Mud rooms are just a space so you can take off your muddy boots , dry off your dog hang up your outdoor gear in winter the shovels the winter clothes boots all things that could track mud or dirt into the home. Many houses in Canada and the U.S. have these. Think about it when the snow melts in spring every thing turns into a mucky quagmire and your wife or Mom would not appreciate mud all over her clean floors. People also store as I said shovel and things for the out doors doing some sort of maitenence around the house. Handy if your house does not have a garage. No not all houses have them ...garages or mud rooms. Sometimes you have an enclosed porch which doubles as a mud room or what later became known as a mud room. It's just a space to take off your dirty gear. The 3 way faucet is pretty standard here.

Hey guys! Our mud room is just small room that leads to backyard. Our washer & dryer are in there & it is the door we let the dogs out to run outside.

In Pennsylvania a mud room is where you enter the house to take off your muddy or snowy boots and coats . It would also be where you hang your coats and and keep your boots shoes at.

@@Dante.- I think so, I don't know the details. I'd still try. I would pack it to make it look not much value, if it got intercepted it wouldn't be the end of the world. I was thinking to include some hose clamps and they should be able to adapt it to any size.

@@callinglarryI don't think so. Custom Office is very greedy and I doubt there is even reputable USPS or USP or FedEx equivalents set up. I had heard stories of other African mail systems actually trashing packages to take anything for themselves.

AC, that’s infuriating! 😡 The corruption must be rampant, if they can’t even get packages because of interception. Another reason to love the U.S.

With the faucets, you mo e the handle for your temperature. To the right is cold, the left is hot. Move to the middle for warm

  • @Rachel-pnw
    @Rachel-pnw 6 дней назад +2

You can buy a mixing valve to combine hot and cold water pipes into one. Then you buy a single tap to dispense the water. There are different types of taps, some you push right or left to get progressively hotter or colder, some push forward or back to do the same. Its gradual rather than on/off for temperature so you can get just the temperature you want. The on/off is different direction or mechanism. Think video game controller to visualize it.

I have seen drive through beer distributors. You literally drive thorough a building, maybe once garage, and they load you up while you wait, and take your money. wish they had them for groceries; though calling ahead to pick up an order is common There are drive through windows at pharmacies and banks. Yes most houses have a single faucet, as opposed to a hot one and cold one.

When I was growing up up in the 1950’s my great aunt and uncle had a mud room on their farm. You took off dirty shoes , overalls etc there before entering the house. This is not a new invention just something that people have realized is still useful to have

mud rooms at least in the older California Houses are usually where the Water Heater and Washer Dryer would be, typicall the 50 and 60s houses have side doors, and the side door is where a little room is typically. I used to think it was odd that a many houses have this little room before getting into the kitchen or dining room or wherever it leads. But most of the time i noticed its used as a washer dryer room

Most people don't get the language ...that being said there's places in England that will make you screw up your face trying to understand them.lol

I tried commenting something, but it's gone. If you do the following, then consider watching "Real Genius" the movie (1985), maybe react to it too. It's always the last word you read.
When you're done with your meal as for a check.
The guy didn't know what he saw and said, "what the..."
It was the first car she bought and the last.
    Now that's a great vid.
But where did it come from.
    In spring the flowers blossom.
His belly button is an inner.
    It's all about our wellness.

I think Scottish is pretty universally hard to understand. Sometimes British English is hard for me to understand, but aside from that, they use words (British TV) that we use in America that have a totally different meaning from what they do here. I can usually track down the meaning, but not always.
