ΕΠΙΘΥΜΙΑ ΕΛΕΥΘΕΡΙΑΣ-DESIRE FOR FREEDOM Greek Revolution on Projection Mapping by TieLab (12.06.2021)

Στις 12 και 13 Ιουνίου 2021, η Ελληνική Επανάσταση «ζωντάνεψε» σε όλη την Ελλάδα, στο πλαίσιο μίας κεντρικής δράσης της Επιτροπής «Ελλάδα 2021». Σε χαρακτηριστικά κτίρια 18 πόλεων, προβλήθηκε με την τεχνική του projection mapping η «Επιθυμία Ελευθερίας». Πρόκειται για μια οπτικοποιημένη αφήγηση του Αγώνα του 1821 μέσα από έργα τέχνης.
Πρόκειται για το μεγαλύτερο εγχείρημα projection mapping που έχει γίνει ποτέ στην Ελλάδα. Η δημιουργία του καλλιτεχνικού αφηγήματος του υλικού και η προσαρμογή του πάνω στα κτίρια έγινε από το Εργαστήριο Μεταβαλλόμενων Ευφυών Περιβαλλόντων (TUC TIE Lab) της Σχολής Αρχιτεκτόνων Μηχανικών του Πολυτεχνείου Κρήτης.

On the weekend of June 12 and 13, the Greek Revolution "came to life" throughout Greece as a central event of the "Greece 2021" Committee. "DESIRE FOR FREEDOM" was screened on iconic buildings of 18 cities, using the technique of projection mapping, showing a visual narrative of the Struggle of 1821 through relevant works of art.
The production of the artistic narrative of the material and its adaptation on the buildings was done by the Transformable Intelligent Environments Laboratory (TUC TIE Lab) of the School of Architecture of the Technical University of Crete.
