- Make room because David Archuleta is spreading his wings. During Wednesday night's finale of the reality singing competition The Masked Singer, the beloved Macaw placed runner-up after Medusa, AKA British singer Bishop Briggs. The feathered mascot turned out to be pop recording artist David Archuleta!
Archuleta spoke with editor Caitlynn McDaniel about his time on the show, coming out as queer, and how his journey inspired his new era of music. Развлечения
So happy for him to be able to be himself now❤🇫🇮 He is so relatable(to me at least) and introspective (yes you David:) )
one of the best interviews making the rounds! so great to see how you interact ♥
He's is amazing
His delivery of what he is speaking about is always impressive! Congratulations, Jubilations & Continued Support, Y'all!!! I too look forward to future developments in his musical journey and career!!!! "YAY"
I got to see him NYE of 2020/2021, in Cedar City, Utah, of all places . As a Gay ex Mormon, I was so happy to see him performing! Amazing show, but as someone older than him that has been through this, I just want to hug him and let him know everything is going to be ok! Keep making your music, my friend! Your voice is important in this world!
Can't wait to listen to David Archuleta's new album. When is it going to be released?
So happy to see him to be true himself. I’m don’t not why I just see David have that shiny radiance which is so charming and sexy yet cute from inside out!
David's growth has been so hard-won, and now he is becoming a true spokesperson for always being true to who you are. Religions that deny the truth of their members really put themselves at a disadvantage. Because queer people have so much to contribute to the evolution of our world.
I love this guy! Phenomenal voice.
This is why I love you so much I identify with you and I always will thank you Dave
David does such a good job explaining the struggles and trauma LGBTQ+ individuals face in organized religion and specifically how it relates to being in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
❤️❤️❤️
He was my biggest crush
❤
Having left the evangelical church for the same reasons, it's so relatable, I'm glad he's speaking out and so happy he's in a better place now :)
I love David. This is yet another perfect example of how damaging and horrific religion can be to those who just want to live their lives free from the chains of illogic, superstition and mythology.
❤️❤️❤️
