Joe Bonamassa with Jimmy Vivino and Elliot Easton Blues Deluxe - HD

Please watch in HD, if possible. I shot this on November 12, 2009, at Guitar Center's 2009 'King of the Blues' Final which was held at the House of Blues Sunset Strip. After the competition wrapped up, we were treated to an eleven song set with the incomparable Joe Bonamassa. He had a few very special guests join him for various jams. Several of them had been judges for the competition. For this particular song, two of them joined in on the fun - Jimmy Vivino, a long time friend of Joe's and lead guitarist for the Tonight Show Band, and Elliot Easton, from The Cars. Throughout the evening, Joe was accompanied by his own fine band - consisting of Carmine Rojas on bass, Bogie Bowles on drums, and Rick Melick on keyboards. This is one of my all time favorite songs. I never tire of it, and Joe always puts a different spin on it. It was great fun to see him playing it on this night, with two such highly respected and talented guitarists such as Jimmy and Elliot. The evening was tremendously fun, from start to finish. I have other videos posted here from this incredible night, including Joe's performances with Steve Lukather, Hubert Sumlin, and Tyler Dow Bryant. Enjoy.
