It's not the question, it was how he phrased it.
If he would have started by saying "Was Khamzat considered for that title fight?"
I think it’s a no brainer that khamzat is the next guy up. He deserves it way more than anybody else
How the hell did that ex-boxing judge, end up to be a UFC judge? That lady did Volkov dirty, Dana has always been furious about bad judging or controversial decisions, after every event but did absolutely nothing to fix the issue til this day, a fighter cannot just finish his opponents every time, so it’s not fair to say ‘don't leave it to the Judges’.
And then they gave us stupid title fight Du Plesis v JabLand. Smh.
He could've answered it, it would've gave the audience a deep insight on what things were discussed after that chimaev fight, but apparently Dana likes dumb questions that can be answere with either yes or no
That was a great question . This dude is in the fight business
Another real question...
"How close is Ankalaev to have a title shot"
Dana White is very obvious how he runs the ufc.
Missed the old times when the Fertita brothers running the show.
Dana flips out when you expose him!! Khamzat definitely pissed off that DDP vs Strickland is next.
It was just worded badly. “Did you ever consider putting khamzat in over Strickland”
Bro how are people in here saying it is a valid question? Like obviously it was gonna be between Strickland and Khamzat there isn’t really anyone in question for a title fight right now.
He’s asking how close Dana was to booking the fight.
“Khamzat was close, very serious contender in this division. The thing is, we promised that Strickland would get his rematch first.” - I fixed it for you Dana
Dana tried to make him look stupid then the reporter threw his own words back at him 😂. Respect.
"his own words" kinda already answered the question tho
I think what he meant was "how close of a decision was it for you not to chose Khamzat for a title shot“…Was that really too hard to understand Dana? 😂
