I just beat the elite 4 in Prism. What a game. I haven’t played a pkmn game nonstop like this since XY era. I’m excited for RainbowDevs to finish the rest of this, and am really looking forward to playing the post game rn. A true gem that I highly recommend all pkmn fans to play. Just ordered a Pokémon Prism cartridge from Retro Gamers US to play on my GBA SP. I'm new to ROM Hacks but judging off of gameplay and reviews, I know I'm going to enjoy this. Major props to everyone who worked on it. It looks amazing.

Mark Jacobs the patch includes at least Riolu and Lucario, which do not exist in code prior to gen 4 games. Those are nintendo's IP and can't be distributed in patches without giving them grounds for a takedown

Playing Pokemon Dark Violet right now and am almost finished with it. This will be my next ROM game. I also didn't know that Nintendo was so worried about a ROM game, especially since the ROM game is free and was made by their fanbase. Greedy pricks.
This is a really well done fan game. Nintendo wishes it could make as cool of content as this Fan Game made. And honestly the game makes no profit, so it's not exactly hurting Nintendo. This is probably one of the Pokemon fan games that literally has not made money off of any of it. They should look more through Amazon or Ebay to find the main thieves that are stealing a profit from making fan games or using Nintendo's properties. I still buy games from Nintendo even if I play fan games like this, so they should honestly chill out.

Guys, if you wanna play the game and you don't have it yet here are some simple steps: 1. Go to iemulators.com and search for the emulator called "game play". 2. Go to the website, tap "play" and follow the steps on your screen. 3. Once its installed, open up the app and log in with your google drive account. 4. Go to the mail you used for your google drive account, copy the code they sent you and paste it in the app. 5. Go to operationidroid.com and tap on games. 6. Scroll down until you find pokemon prism and install it. 7. Once its installed, tap "open in" and upload it to google drive. 8. Go to "Game Play" again. 9. Tap on Pokemon Prism (2 times). 10. Enjoy the game! EDIT: This only works for IOS devices, for android, just search "gbc emulator" in the play store, install one and just do step 5-6. For pc, just go on google and search "gbc emulator", install one that looks good and do step 5-6 to install the rom.

Siko Well, in the case of this hack, the patch itself contains copyrighted content - all the new Pokemon that were added. Although there are several hacks like Glazed and Theta Emerald EX with this stuff too, but they're safe. Weird. Basically - rom hacks are still safe for the most part, and there hasn't been another takedown recently - not even for Super Ocarina of Time 64. The patch has copyrighted content for sure, and the hack has also had tons of attention. The creator has even had legal action taken against him for Super Mario 64 Online for containing the SM64 name, causing him to just name it Net64. So it's lucky for us that ROM hacks are largely untouched territory.

Playing Pokemon Dark Violet right now and am almost finished with it. This will be my next ROM game. I also didn't know that Nintendo was so worried about a ROM game, especially since the ROM game is free and was made by their fanbase. Greedy pricks.

This is a really well done fan game. Nintendo wishes it could make as cool of content as this Fan Game made.
And honestly the game makes no profit, so it's not exactly hurting Nintendo.
This is probably one of the Pokemon fan games that literally has not made money off of any of it.
They should look more through Amazon or Ebay to find the main thieves that are stealing a profit from making fan games or using Nintendo's properties.

This is why I prefer Sega to Nintendo. Sega embraces the fan-game and Rom Hacking communities. Heck, Sonic Mania was made by hackers and modders. While on the other hand, Nintendo are just waiting for a fantastic fan project to come along and shut it down. They want to keep their franchises and characters to themselves. They're greedy, if you want to get technical.

Guys, if you wanna play the game and you don't have it yet here are some simple steps:
1. Go to iemulators.com and search for the emulator called "game play".
2. Go to the website, tap "play" and follow the steps on your screen.
3. Once its installed, open up the app and log in with your google drive account.
4. Go to the mail you used for your google drive account, copy the code they sent you and paste it in the app.
5. Go to operationidroid.com and tap on games.
6. Scroll down until you find pokemon prism and install it.
7. Once its installed, tap "open in" and upload it to google drive.
8. Go to "Game Play" again.
9. Tap on Pokemon Prism (2 times).
10. Enjoy the game!
EDIT: This only works for IOS devices, for android, just search "gbc emulator" in the play store, install one and just do step 5-6. For pc, just go on google and search "gbc emulator", install one that looks good and do step 5-6 to install the rom.

I must say I'll never understand an individual's obsession over a fan-made game and or rom hack. I love the official feeling of the actual games. And taking part in a journey that's canon. And I'll definitely never understand why people like fan made Pokemon.... But I must say. This game seems to have sparked a small bit of interest in me. Doesn't seem to be any fan made Pokemon, and the character customization is great. But honestly that's about it. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be getting back to playing Pokemon Emerald lol

Siko Well, in the case of this hack, the patch itself contains copyrighted content - all the new Pokemon that were added. Although there are several hacks like Glazed and Theta Emerald EX with this stuff too, but they're safe. Weird.
Basically - rom hacks are still safe for the most part, and there hasn't been another takedown recently - not even for Super Ocarina of Time 64. The patch has copyrighted content for sure, and the hack has also had tons of attention. The creator has even had legal action taken against him for Super Mario 64 Online for containing the SM64 name, causing him to just name it Net64. So it's lucky for us that ROM hacks are largely untouched territory.
