An East Stroudsburg guy who believes that a couple of losses each year are okay. The lack of portal efforts to get a fast wide receiver is proof. The LB room is suspect, as well.
The lack of effort they pursued multiple wideouts had one he decided to go to West Virginia I believe the others went to Georgia and some where else it’s not effort mostly lucky nil of something else
If you’re surprised by this result you haven’t followed Franklin’s career. It’s nice to get 8 wins a year, but my goodness can we win a big game more than once a decade?
Psu, please never fire this guy!! I personally love watching this guy blow leads harder than Lana Rhodes blows dread. Absolutely cinematic, and i look forward to seeing a repeat of the last 10 years! Julian Fleming contributed nothing, because he’s a pine rider at OSU.
As an Ohio State fan it feels like to me… “so what if I lose a game or two per year I can still get into the playoffs every year… and they’re not gonna fire a coach who makes it to the playoffs every year” In reality if you’re Penn State win out and make the 5 seed and you’re in a great position
3-7 against a Michigan and 1-10 against OSU. The only 2 teams that truly pose a challenge. I’m a big Michigan fan, and really like Penn State. Franklin has had his opportunities and has kind of proven to be a perennial 3rd place coach in the Big 10. I’m sure very frustrating as a Penn State fan.
He's not good enough... It's time to evaluate if we want to be a playoff team that gets knocked out the first round or can extend it into further rounds... JF is great at winning the games he should but games that are even his record is the worst it could possibly be. There are NO MORE EXCUSES. This was the year Singleton, Allen, Sutton, Allar, and Carter are juniors... I've supported him up until this point but after so many losses to the same team that we play every year you cannot continue this. He needs to go. His time is up. This is where the AD needs to decide whether we want to be an above average barely making the playoff kind of team or elite and this was his last chance today. He is not a big time coach and will never win the big games. I would rather start the rebuild now than wait another 5 years and then start it. Especially with all of the big play makers most likely leaving after this year. The ONE time we beat OSU i was there and that was literally a miracle. We should not have to wait once every 10 years to beat OSU. This dude was able to fake everyone out so long... and every year they trick the fans into the hype and it's just over. His time has expired. He would be a great coach in the big 12 or ACC maybe. But he's not Big 10 material. I'm tired of the excuses. Get rid of this simple minded PoS.
Funny but I don’t think it’s healthy for any fan base to feel like the world is gonna end after a loss. PSU played good and it was a much better game than last year even.
What is he talking about fumble at the two yard line that was called a touchdown? Lol this shows you how disconnected from the game he was. That never happened. The only thing close was a fumble that went out of bounds in the end zone for a touchback. They reviewed it and it was a touchback which gave Penn State the ball.
How bout the Ohio St QB. A Pennsylvania guy that had a dream to play for Penn st. No interest in him and though he started off rough....he laid the wood to Penn St. Thanks for the interest Penn St...lmao.
At least your school doesn’t cheat like Mythagain. BTW, speak up dude, can’t hear you. “I own it all” and the millions I’m getting paid…I own those as well.
Looks like the only ranked team Ryan Cooper 2.0 can beat each year is Penn State. That's not saying much and no way was Penn State a legitimate #3 team. LMAO!!!!
Bring up coach Coop is pretty funny lol. He had exceptional talent and couldn’t get it done 😭😭 Ryan Day inherited everything he needed to succeed. That 1 point Loss to Georgia still hurts and Oregon… forget about it. But I still love my buckeyes.
@@Mbg-art you're exactly right. The HC job at Ohio State fell into Day's lap. He was always an assistant coach wherever he worked prior to Ohio State. He was never a HC anywhere and it shows. Jim Tressel and Urban Meyer are perfect examples of the kind of coach Ohio State should hire once they FIRE Ryan "Cooper 2.0" Day after this season. By that I mean both Tressel and Meyer were former HC's and had success at every level they coached. Who should OSU hire next? I have no idea, but if they can find someone who has had previous HC success even at smaller division schools e.g. Kalen DeBoer then do it. Ryan Day coached teams are just good enough to play in a big game, but lose.
I’m not a Penn State fan, but this sounds like the same video of the last 8 years

Fire Franklin
Please don’t leave the program Franklin. I make so much money betting on you to lose big games 😂

James "The broken record" Franklin
He said if they build him a bigger airport he can win big games. I am not kidding.
@@mikelaughlin270 oh so that's why he doesn't play the portal, the airport is too small, got it..Sounds like he's very comfortable over at PS

great win for ohio state ,and another loss for penn state

What's the point of making the playoffs if you're just going to lose every time that you get there?
Love how Penn State supports hydration, four bottles drinks for one person is impressive.
Penn State must adjust their expectations for this program, coach, and team. Nothing wrong with being #3 behind OSU and Michigan
Just like Ricky Bobby said, If you ain't first, you're last.
Just an overall better, smarter coaching staff at Ohio St. compared to penn st. year after year.
Why did no one ask about the World Famous White Out? That was the X Factor

PSU, how have you not fired that bum. He is the only other coach who chokes worse than Ryan Day. They both need fired at the end of this year.

Jimmy, pack ur crap and get movin. And the clowns that signed you to a 10 yr extension. Your way overpaid for what your ability is as a head coach.
He is not going anywhere O H
You need to go away, James
Why is he talking like a pro wrestler?
Be careful what you wish for. If Franklin goes away we are back to 7-6 and 8-4. I’ll take 10-2 in the big ten
No it’s not. Back to what? When were we 7-6? For one year. I’ll take the risk
