40 years old and Im blown away that this is easily top 5 most shockingly beautiful movie scenes/songs/vocal performances I've ever seen. I'm not easily moved, but this was borderline otherworldly.
Rebecca Ferguson actually sang the song for the cast and crew, she didn't lip sync, but the producers (Ms. Ferguson knew going in) had already planned on having Loren Allred do the official version.
Jason Simpson. Thats what i meant but it didnt come out that way and to the person (whos comment i cant find) i was not spreading false info.. The voice that the brothers are listening to IS NOT Rebecca but Loren Allred i know Rebecca has a lovely voice but want to make sure Loren gets the props.....
I hadn't seen your comment when I made mine, so I wasn't throwing shade at anyone when I made it. I was just responding to the brothers comments about lip syncing. I personally would love to see and/or hear a behind the scenes clip of Rebecca Ferguson singing her version.
The voice is Loren Allred but Rebecca Ferguson was actually singing there along to Loren Allred's voice. She wasn't just lip-synching she was singing there but we hear Loren over her. There I solved everyone's problem explaining it.
Fun Fact.. She actually sang the song there... But she realized it wasn't as good as Loren so she humbly took a step back and let Loren's recording be put in the movie instead.. But make no mistake..The actress CAN sing
This is definitely one of my favorite songs. I couldn't stop listening to it the first time. I heard the album first before I watched the movie. When I watched the movie, I replayed the scene a few times. I was amazed by the scene. Great reaction.
Can you guys react to Hugh Jackman's Boy From Oz Tony Award Performance. It is incredible and very different from his normal performances. Lots of Love!
Rebecca actually sang the song first, then Loren sang to match Rebecca’s singing style. It was always the producers intention to have a 2nd singer. After listening to Loren sing the song by herself on stage and then going back to the movie version I can hear voice alterations and hints of Rebecca coming through, especially in the less difficult sections of the song. This expert sound mixing is done to convince the audience watching the movie that it’s actually Rebecca’s voice. Great Job, i was convinced. Rebecca can really sing in real life....just not this good, no where near. Also, great job to both the Rebecca & Loren....and the people behind the greatest showmen for giving us such an amazing piece of cinematic entertainment, and by far one of my favorite songs of all time!
Hey guy's stumbled over your reaction video here. This woman is not the one singing this song it is Lauron Alfred who sings as she lips sinks for the movie. I thought you would like to know so if you wanna see that person whos actually singing check her out
Yes yo it really is something about that song😩 it made me cry so hard at one point😩😭 it’s 2020 & I still listen to this song everyday, this my favorite movie
Hello, guys. I really appreciate your reaction to this song, and if you know, or I missed it or someone else posted it.....for as beautiful is this song and as beautifully as it is sung....Rebecca Ferguson, the actress singing it onstage is not the singer singing it behind the scenes. The singer who dubbed the song for the actress above, who is playing Jenny Lind, a Swedish singer in the 1800's who took NYC by storm, and chose to work with PJ Barnum, or Hugh Jackman, here....and it is said they had an affair. Anyway, the woman singing this is, in truth a woman called Lauren Allred, who was an American Idol or X Factor contestant, am not sure which talent show she did...but was plucked to do this song in this film. Rebecca Ferguson did a great job dubbing it as you can see she is singing along, her neck muscles moving, etc...but it's not her voice. You can find her sining it on RUclips...the real voice. Lauren Allred. Have a great day! - GP

I can still remember just how dumbstruck me and my friends were, how real this felt, almost like we were watching a live performance take place.
Rebecca Ferguson actually sang the song for the cast and crew, she didn't lip sync, but the producers (Ms. Ferguson knew going in) had already planned on having Loren Allred do the official version.

She actually sang it, Yeah the original is from Lloren. But she actually sang it
She didn’t lip sync
No Rebecca didn't sing the song. It was sung by Loren Allred even the movie soundtrack CD has her name written in the credits.
