Probably. I am currently taking a little break to work on other projects, but i will likely keep making Arthurian stuff for a long time. Its quite an interest of mine.
I have to write a thesis on the middle English version of Ser Tristrem and the way he dies in this one is very far from what I expected. The only legend to include Tristan among the knights of the round table should be based on Malory's prose version of the story, as in the 12th century version or even the older versions make no mention of King Arthur. It's all really fascinating knowing about all the different versions.
@ParryThis it's more than likely. It was used as a direct source seeing as the main antagonist that the 16 year old Tristan, Lancelot, Percival, and Gawain have is King Arthur of Camelot. It's just fun to see the source material
Isnt he like, the only good knight from cornwall? From what I understand, cornish knights have always had a reputation as being the worst in the isles.
There are actually a few times in Arthurian Legend where someone makes a crack about how all the knights from cornwall are shite. Idk the cultural background though, not being from the isles myself.

Well, that's simply not true. The character of tristram likely originated with Welsh poems, but it was developed all the way up through the 16th century, by Welsh, English, and French authors. And much of Arthurian Legend is not celtic in origin, but in fact a creation of several French writers.
Tristan is my favourite name. I first heard it when I was a child and it instantly hit me deep in heart and soul.
My name is Tristan. Was always a strange when I was young but it grew on me as I got older.
Yeah, its a less common name nowadays. I imagine like anything, it grows on you over time.

Correct. Most modern adaptations of Arthurian legend are thin surface level retellings of the same three or four stories.
I love Excalibur. As a child I had no idea what was going on but that didn't stop me from watching it every now and than.
