This is the closest I have seen to a shadow duel with Chris feeling the pain from the hot sauce every time he's taking life point damage.
Regardless of chris' opinion regarding boneless wings you cannot deny that they are perfect for a yugioh challenge as you don't dirty your hands

This is actually a lot more fun than watching typical yugioh videos because while you guys clearly take the game seriously to some level, you can see little gentleman agreements here and there and it genuinely feels like people just playing the game with friends.

Man I love these types of duels. Less combos. Slower games and you don't have 5 negates on the field. It was really fun to watch I love these types of duels.
Negates are boring because you don't get to play and older Yu-Gi-Oh will always be better than mondern. Keep it up guys
Listen I love old yugioh too, but these comments always make me laugh. 5 negates is boring but normal summoning a 1900 and swinging into a 2000 isn't? The game needed to evolve and comments like these really just gatekeep current yugioh. Can't you explain how you enjoy this without dumping on the current game? @@Xhalonick I mean I play mondern Yu-Gi-Oh but a lot of it is just not as fun. While older Yu-Gi-Oh you had to think more and it was a more of a turn based game. But you can call me a loser if you want. Make you feel better because you are a loser. I just don't have as much fun in mondern Yu-Gi-Oh. Now days it's not even a turn based game. It's if you go first you win. It's not that fun when you get otk. I don't even have fun otk somebody.

you know what would a brutal thing to do? have some kind of deck that just deals a tiny amount of damage at a time, and keeps healing your opponent to keep making them eat the sauce.

Maybe do a half/half structure deck duel. After sleeving up their respective decks and shuffling, the duelists then cut their decks and give half to their opponent

I believe I have invented a new format that utilizes trap cards in a very interesting way. Best part is that you don't need to keep track of life points with pen and paper or calculator.
In said format, there's 40 cards in your main deck and 20 cards and the life point deck. Whenever you deal breakthrough damage, you would instead Subtract the level of the monster thats attacking with the level of the one being destroyed, for example a level 6 destroys a level 4, the player who lost the monster then reveals the top 2 cards of the life point deck. (Cause 6-4=2) then the player chooses to activate one of the revealed traps and discards the rest. The more damage you take the more options you have at your disposal.

my favorite hot sauce... a tie between a few. Last Dab XXX (has a better flavor than Apollo I think, NW sauces, Hott Jolokia sauce (not a typo), Green Lizard, Fear the Reaper from Sauceworks, and Dat'l Do it, Dat'l pepper sauce all make the top of my list, in no particular order.
For me. I prefer Los Calientes or Los Calientes Rojo. But sure Last Dab XXX works.

I am from KC which is where Da Bomb is made. Watching Chris eat that huge glob of Da Bomb I was yelling at my phone trying to tell him to stop.
I got some big respect for Chris for sticking through it. I would have loved to see Trell's reactions after he got to try them too.
All that being said, I guess this is funnier with people that aren't used to big heat. If I wa slaying through this you wouldn't get a reaction from me until I hit the last level. I've had it and it's definitely spicy, but not extremely terrible.
Also a tip for those that want to deal with spicy aftertaste better: hold the milk/water in your mouth, don't swallow it. When you leave it there for a bit, that's when it really helps to neutralize and soothe the pain.

As much as I love some of these character deck challenges, I think it'd also be cool to see some content involving more modern structure decks like Zombie Horde, Albaz Strike, Cyber Strike, and the Shaddoll deck.
They have done the modern decks. Cyber Strike went against the Divine Beast deck. Zombie Hoard went against like a Warrior deck. Albaz is the only one they haven't done and that's because it just came out.
@@RazielTheUnborn fair point but I was mainly just listing them off the top of my head as examples, and even then, they haven't done nearly as many duels with something like zombie Horde as they have decks based on Yugi/Kaiba and other anime characters
Me and buddies use to do a shot challenge. Whenever you lose/take damage take a shot. It's all fun. But games get silly fast.

For the next Hot Sauce duel.
Rule: Player has to take next level of hot sauce per every increment of 1000 of the attack/ effect.
Example: Beaver Warrior was equip to Axe Of Despair making it 2200 ATK. Opposing player would be required to take 2 different levels of hot sauce. So like Lv 1 and then Lv 2, one after the other. Due to Beaver Warrior current ATK 2200.
If the Spell Card Wave Motion Cannon was active and had 8 counters. Wave Motion Cannon burn effect goes off. Opposing player has to take the next 8 levels of hot sauce!
If he can't declare an action in 60 secs, he automatically surrenders. The Shadow Realm ain't got nothing on the Spicy Realm!

The last dab isn't too painful at all if you can tolerate most hot sauces like me. I used it on my spaghetti one time and I was only lucky to experience mild stomach symptoms but fortunately I consumed some yogurt shortly after and I didn't have any other issues after that. It does feel like a once in a lifetime thing and I am glad you guys had a great time challenging each other and making creative duel challenges. I enjoy the effort and the way you guys strategically face each other as this gives me inspiration to make decks similar to the one's you guys do in Master Duel.

I loved this episode!!! I think that many people, myself included would of preferred if they were taking shots of hot sauce rather than a small drop on a wing, or at least dip the wings into a bowl of hot sauce. I just wanted to see them eat bigger portions of the sauce 😁😈
