I do like what they did to wushu, they made him similar to ramen but made him much more balanced by reducing the recharge rate. He still does his role very well but doesn’t make every zombie stage a complete push-over.

They both have a lot of potential, even if immunities are thrown at catalite (as it already has slow and warp immune, it could make it a more generalist meatsheild for stages with alot of crowd control enemies). Just the health bonus and orb slot alone is enough to make them pretty busted…
Another thing I want to mention about Cameraman is that you can use her as a ranged meatshield. I have noticed that everytime I brought her in, the enemies seemed to push much slower. Her hp and survival ability make it really hard for enemies to chew though.
Combos refers to what combos the cat is featured in. This is especially useful for comparing |useless units| to |useless units|. If a cat has a better combo than the other, it will be ranked higher
Honestly I’d say thief cat is more useful than tin cat. Thief at least has a very specific niche which is hard to replace, being a double bounty peon clearer. In stages such as Beverly hill scoop, where can can/ B train aren’t enough to get money from the peons due to single attack, and you don’t wanna waste a rich cat, thief can come in handy. Tin cat on the other hand, the only thing it can really do ‘well’ is knockback cheese director kirosawa, but only in stages where he is a boss… and bomber is much better at that (wow an anti black proc unit outclasses by bomber, how original). This argument is probably pointless as both units are shit tier but tin cat is one of my least favourite units so any excuse to slander it is a good enough excuse for me
I noticed a lot of inconsistency in the way the whole community refers to cats. Sometimes we use the base form name (Archer, Wushu, Thief), sometimes the TF (Cyborg, Ramen, Cameraman). I suppose this might be related to priorities for TF evolving and how long that TF has been around
Maybe it’s how often we see them in a form. Everyone and their dog has the true form of cyborg or cameraman, but essentially nobody uses Archer or Thief, so they are in first form a lot. This would also explain why nobody refers to cats by their second form except people making beginner guides for levels in which people may not have TF.
Ramen cat was my first ever rare unit and remains my favourite to this day. He helped me clear basically all of early game by himself due to sheer cost effectiveness of this unit
In 4 crowns, you can use cameraman alongside Lil eraser in row 1 for combo that gives 10% HP boost, and those are two units that you will be using almost all the time in 4 crown anyways. Even then, ramen and cameraman might be so close in rankings.
I'm guessing 1st place is gonna be between cameraman and ramen. If the ranking is based off they're niche usage, I think first place goes to ramen. Cameraman is fucking great but I feel like he can be sometimes replaced by some units. And ramen is a beast against angels, most of the stages would be a painful in the ass without him. If the ranking is based off general usage it goes to cameraman.
53:44 to be fair, in my opinion another particularly powerful combination would be that of ramen cat along with cyborg cat, this combination is very good if you fight against winged pigge, for resistance to ramen angels and immunity to weaken cyborg, which outrages winged pigge range with omnistrike by 10
I typically use a ramen and cameraman duo. Both are short ranged but they have extreme survivability and have a lot of raw dps which allow them to shred pretty much every slow attacking or low range enemies. Although my ramen has nearly 60 boosted levels on it which allow him to tank some ranged attackers and shred them with research combos. He’s actually able to kill the cadaver bear from the cat eye farm stage on his own if you boost him high enough. Also with a crit up combo and a research combo cameraman and ramen do pretty decent with metal enemies. If cameraman doesn’t kill the metal peons ramen will do so with his high attack rate. Cameraman pretty much 1 or 2 hits most metal enemies with a crit so it doesn’t take much to wipe out a whole group of them
@@ionic7777 its a 2% crit. very unreliable . using the excuse that you can use crit combos means you know there is going to be metals. i can see using camera as a crit if u dont know there is metals and just had a generalist slot equipped but its not reliable. if u use combo it means u know there is metal which means u can use actualyl good crit

Ok very good ranking, but ramen #2 kina ticks me off. There are some alternatives to camera, most notably courier, but no cat can truly replace ramen. Angels would become probably the hardest trait to deal with
For some reason, I didn’t choose to tf sanzo and thamatarge for the longest time. I only ended up true forming sanzo after I had been more that half of the cyclone(For divine cyclone,I got to do a cheese with momotaro,which was cool)
Im going for ramen. If you truly are ranking unit's niche usage, i dont think theres a single cat which destroys its target trait more than ramen, appart from even being viable outside of angels. Even though camera has some extremely strong stats, you still can beat the game wothout him. Cant say the same about ramen... some angel stages would be truly unbeatable without him. One of the most important units if you want to progress

I disagree about viking cat. I know viking cat isn't the best cat in the late game but in early game he can carry so hard that you just gotta give him some respect. But I agree with everything else.
Since stilts cat is probably the only really spammable surge unit, a large stack of stilts cats can decimate almost anything in the surge spawn area. Although stilts cat has really low damage and piss health, the spammability negates that. Also, stilts cat can be used as a stack due to its decent range to clear out weak peons and to chip backliners.
*Common Gacha unit that you didn’t want because it’s not an uber Superiority* But all jokes aside, many people don’t realize how much value these little gacha units can have.

I'm kinda sad he didn't mention a lot of good combos these units have. Jiangshi + Li'l king dragon= dmg up (sm) Cyborg + Li'l Jamiera = def up (sm) Cameraman + Li'l eraser = def up (sm) Also, while not good for general stages, ramen + Michelangelo = resist up (sm), can help ramen tank angel enemies even better, for just one additional slot.
Yesss, i've been wanting a guide about Rares and maybe super rares, cuz i have no idea which i should prioritize my np on first, and also see which units are the best
I can tell you right now when it comes to super rares Cancan is great and max out all talents on can can increase slow is kinda optional but all of the talents are great. I would first max out the double bounty talent and followed by speed and attack. Maxed out Can Can is basically a fast recharge uber.
I would say get nerd cats true form (cyberpunk cat), then get max slow talent because you can essentially infinitely slow enemies and will carry you through some stages.
This is great, you should do this for all gacha super rares too. If you wanted, you could include exclusives, like sniper the deadeye, rich cat lll, metal cat, gold cat, the grandon corps, and the summer units.(You could even add the nenekos if you wanted, but I wouldn't, there are quite a few, and they're all fairly similar.)
I think Jiangshi is a very good unit for what it's useful for. It's very situational, but it can be helpful. However, that ONLY applies to its true form, otherwise it's 100% useless imo.
10:46 Another trouble is Kyubei Cat just doing his job cheaper, 90c is obviously more then a regular ol 75c Meatshield but if anything it's that chance of surviving a hit that makes the 15c extra worth it.

2 75¢ meaatshields can get one-shotted by anything, whereas jiangshi can survive 2 hits no matter what. This is important for enemies with massive pierce, such as surges, waves, or even just massive long ranged attacks that can halve the meatshield count on the battlefield. Jiangshi shouldn’t be this low.
I feel like Thaumaturge should be atleast higher than necro. You can pretty much just throw her into like half of ur lineups and she'll be pretty useful. Also I feel like rodeo is a little to low cuz there isn't many good relic cc units.

Top 6 is debatable in my oppion, 6.Cyborg 5. Wushu (very nice tonk) 4. Sanzo 3. Jurassic (el bonk> el debuff) 2. Cameraman (best rare by a lot except I like Ramen) 1. Ramen (favorite cat + busted OP) W list though and I personally feel top 6 is just debatable
The only good thing about doctor cat is that he is easy to evolve because he needs no purple cat fruit which was harder to get early game for me. Now I can beat glowing purple, and I recently got cameraman cat!
I'd rank cyborg lower, I used to think she is OP but everything changed after gestalt decay, she is literally useless outside of stages with weaken proc enemies, like she is a massive cash drain, only effective if you stack her and low survivability
@@real.snatch she moves really fast so it's usually hard to stack her together and she ends up dying quickly, and as I said it depends on where you are in the game, for me my level 45 cyborg just doesn't deal enough damage to be worth 900, and gets one shot by large peons, while camera has more chance to survive a lethal strike
I feel like its almost unfair to compare duelist to courier, considering courier outperforms even cameraman in a lot of scenarios. I lowkey feel like courier might be as good as can can (w/o talents at least)
Funny enough, I'd argue the opposite. Courier is absolutely as good as can can if not better, but cameraman cat's sheer versatility is pretty much unmatched. On top of an insanely strong niche performance it does wonders as a midrange attacker/meatshield hybrid for all kinds of general use.

I know you said your goemon is boosted but I find it hilarious that the "incredibly useless" cat almost solos one of the most annoying advents in the entire game
People are gonna rate cyborg too high as they obviously aren't later in the game. Early in the game she destroys a ton of stages but later in the game she becomes more and more useless to the point where she's usually restricted to her extremely niche toxic immune talent. Cyborg is around like 7th for late game as I never use her anymore (but she's still good)
Jiangshi is good for cotc stages where you can only use 1 row and you need to use 4 other units for different things. He is also nice to use over dual eraser on stages where the main threats one shot the erasers anyway
Camera is so broken in fact, that you can classify stages by wether the enemies outrange her or not. If the stage features a melee boss with short range, camera basically gives you a free win. Bun bun variants become mere walking cash when she is in the field. Peons hide in fear. Slow-attacking bosses cry and tremble. Metal enemies explode just by hearing her name. 4-star stages become playable with her. Like awakened bahamut, the game completely changes when her true form is unlocked.
She did not *completely* change the game though. Ramen singlehandedly powercrept an entire trait by himself. Endgame angels are designed to counter him. The rusher meta is based around Awakened Bahamut. Cameraman did not fully powercreep floating, and there's a much better spammable for late game (i.e. Slapsticks).

She doesn't exactly demolish every single stage in the game or has an incredibly busted niche, it's just that she works almost everywhere, and always does a fantastic job. Ramen and Bahamut are INSANE at what they do best. Camera is just a unit that has insane dps and stackability overall, at the expense of somewhat low range and speed. I always thought of her strong agst flying as a nice bonus lol (and to make bun bun even more worthless)
Honestly I’m surprised that Viking is ranked so low. Even though he’s only useful when talented and boosted, it’s a pretty solid unit. Although it is somewhat understandable considering roe cat completely outclasses him, he still does really well on 4 star red stages with his really high base health. I don’t understand why archer would be placed above him considering he has the same problems if not worse

Because archer has better niche value , if viking had 1 kb instead of 3 he would be definitely better than archer, but the 3 kbs affects both his endurance and dps. Archer can be used against floating enemies that camera can't outrange, like moth or face variants and his talents also makes him a decent anti zombie specially against cadaver bear

Fun fact: you can beat Floor 30 with nothing but talented Catley, Musashi, and 3 research ups (bony bone + biohazard + mini-saurus), and with Breakerblast as your cat cannon. If Catley is Level 46 and has Survive Lethal Strike, it will take Hermit 3 hits to kill him. All those Catleys have strength in numbers, with Musashi there to deliver heavy hits to the peons (though he often misses). Note: Any other anti-wave attacker such as Lifeguard Cats (EDIT: Talented Dancer as well) can be used in place of Musashi, and would probably be even more effective.
The only time I used Goemon is in bathhouse whimsey (with hackey and brollow spam) to clear to crocos quickly. Actually worked for all crowns, even 3 crown, and it was only level 30. Goemon > Robocat
Very entertaining, and a lot of useful info and all that. I would have personally put ramen at number 1 bc he's my sweet little baby boy and i love him but cameraman cat is a fair pick too.
Camera number 1 because of versatility (generic attacker, critter, ranged meatshield and has wave resistance talent), cost efficiency, basically free combos (+bullet train for canon start sm and +li'l wall for defense up sm, all 3 units you would bring anyway) and survivability (decent health + 100% survive) if i would guess
@@crazycat482 cam is better in late game imo still. you can def bypass angel stages without ramen but camera is pretty much THE general area attacker. also survive is really meta with late game and ramen can sometimes struggle against higher buffed enemies that aren't angels since his HP wont be as significant but he's still def a top 5 gacha rare cat. the amount of damage that this unit outputs is so crazy and she has a crit.

Personally jiangshi deserves more because of his kb and double survivability, best meatshield honestly just a bit expensive and less worth in late game sometimes, i still use him a lot tho
In my opinion, I use theif cat more than 1/3 of my rare cats. The only reason I use him is to farm SMH cat ticket stage. He allows me to get warlock and Pierre faster
IMO their can be useful in stages where the boss units spawn at a certain time, or the stage will just slaughter you with assassin bears if you take too long as the extra money can help you max your wallet faster, is it great? No, but it certainly has a use
thats because ITF1 is so easy that literally any gacha cat helps a lot, and thats with EOC1-2-3 and ITF1 did you see the guy that beat ITF1 moon with just Li'l eraser

Cameraman is fucking great but I feel like he can be sometimes replaced by some units.
And ramen is a beast against angels, most of the stages would be a painful in the ass without him.

53:44 to be fair, in my opinion another particularly powerful combination would be that of ramen cat along with cyborg cat, this combination is very good if you fight against winged pigge, for resistance to ramen angels and immunity to weaken cyborg, which outrages winged pigge range with omnistrike by 10
I typically use a ramen and cameraman duo. Both are short ranged but they have extreme survivability and have a lot of raw dps which allow them to shred pretty much every slow attacking or low range enemies. Although my ramen has nearly 60 boosted levels on it which allow him to tank some ranged attackers and shred them with research combos. He’s actually able to kill the cadaver bear from the cat eye farm stage on his own if you boost him high enough.
Also with a crit up combo and a research combo cameraman and ramen do pretty decent with metal enemies. If cameraman doesn’t kill the metal peons ramen will do so with his high attack rate. Cameraman pretty much 1 or 2 hits most metal enemies with a crit so it doesn’t take much to wipe out a whole group of them

@@ionic7777 its a 2% crit. very unreliable . using the excuse that you can use crit combos means you know there is going to be metals. i can see using camera as a crit if u dont know there is metals and just had a generalist slot equipped but its not reliable. if u use combo it means u know there is metal which means u can use actualyl good crit

Necrodancer - pretty solid floating cc but yeah... Sanzo
Witch - solid red cc, you can use it as support on most red stages
Chill cat - pretty solid anti alien with very good dps but terrible range and survivability
Psycho cat - the alien slow can absolutely carry itf, just great
Thaumaturge - really good generalist thst can debuff all traits, he lacks area attack tho
Rover - pure alien meatshield that can also chip enemies
Shigong - Zombie meatshield.
Cyborg - Really solid attacker that can be a good addition to your loadout on stages with plenty of cash otherwise it just drains your money
Jurassic cat - best crittet in the game
Cameraman - just great as an attacker though i got to say its very overrated cause it lacks range
Sanzo - And people wonder why floating enemies are so easy to counter
Ramen - pure spammable amgel meatshield with insanely high hp and solid dps

Ok very good ranking, but ramen #2 kina ticks me off. There are some alternatives to camera, most notably courier, but no cat can truly replace ramen. Angels would become probably the hardest trait to deal with

For some reason, I didn’t choose to tf sanzo and thamatarge for the longest time. I only ended up true forming sanzo after I had been more that half of the cyclone(For divine cyclone,I got to do a cheese with momotaro,which was cool)

Even though camera has some extremely strong stats, you still can beat the game wothout him. Cant say the same about ramen... some angel stages would be truly unbeatable without him. One of the most important units if you want to progress

Since stilts cat is probably the only really spammable surge unit, a large stack of stilts cats can decimate almost anything in the surge spawn area. Although stilts cat has really low damage and piss health, the spammability negates that. Also, stilts cat can be used as a stack due to its decent range to clear out weak peons and to chip backliners.

Jiangshi + Li'l king dragon= dmg up (sm)
Cyborg + Li'l Jamiera = def up (sm)
Cameraman + Li'l eraser = def up (sm)
Also, while not good for general stages, ramen + Michelangelo = resist up (sm), can help ramen tank angel enemies even better, for just one additional slot.
granted, the Cameraman combo is basically irrelevant with EVERYTHING ELSE Cameraman has going for her

Yesss, i've been wanting a guide about Rares and maybe super rares, cuz i have no idea which i should prioritize my np on first, and also see which units are the best
I can tell you right now when it comes to super rares Cancan is great and max out all talents on can can increase slow is kinda optional but all of the talents are great. I would first max out the double bounty talent and followed by speed and attack. Maxed out Can Can is basically a fast recharge uber.
I would say get nerd cats true form (cyberpunk cat), then get max slow talent because you can essentially infinitely slow enemies and will carry you through some stages.

This is great, you should do this for all gacha super rares too. If you wanted, you could include exclusives, like sniper the deadeye, rich cat lll, metal cat, gold cat, the grandon corps, and the summer units.(You could even add the nenekos if you wanted, but I wouldn't, there are quite a few, and they're all fairly similar.)
I think Jiangshi is a very good unit for what it's useful for. It's very situational, but it can be helpful. However, that ONLY applies to its true form, otherwise it's 100% useless imo.

Yes, however due to it being a collab exclusive it can't really powercreep, because of their rarity, much like ubers
2 75¢ meaatshields can get one-shotted by anything, whereas jiangshi can survive 2 hits no matter what. This is important for enemies with massive pierce, such as surges, waves, or even just massive long ranged attacks that can halve the meatshield count on the battlefield. Jiangshi shouldn’t be this low.
I was pleasantly surprised by how high he ranked elemental Duelist. Though I wonder how much higher he would be were it not for Courier Cat.

The only good thing about doctor cat is that he is easy to evolve because he needs no purple cat fruit which was harder to get early game for me. Now I can beat glowing purple, and I recently got cameraman cat!
I'd rank cyborg lower, I used to think she is OP but everything changed after gestalt decay, she is literally useless outside of stages with weaken proc enemies, like she is a massive cash drain, only effective if you stack her and low survivability

@@real.snatch she moves really fast so it's usually hard to stack her together and she ends up dying quickly, and as I said it depends on where you are in the game, for me my level 45 cyborg just doesn't deal enough damage to be worth 900, and gets one shot by large peons, while camera has more chance to survive a lethal strike

Funny enough, I'd argue the opposite. Courier is absolutely as good as can can if not better, but cameraman cat's sheer versatility is pretty much unmatched. On top of an insanely strong niche performance it does wonders as a midrange attacker/meatshield hybrid for all kinds of general use.

People are gonna rate cyborg too high as they obviously aren't later in the game. Early in the game she destroys a ton of stages but later in the game she becomes more and more useless to the point where she's usually restricted to her extremely niche toxic immune talent. Cyborg is around like 7th for late game as I never use her anymore (but she's still good)
I once made the mistake of sacrficing wushu just for some quick xp to upgrade titan cat. never again
Jiangshi is good for cotc stages where you can only use 1 row and you need to use 4 other units for different things. He is also nice to use over dual eraser on stages where the main threats one shot the erasers anyway

Camera is so broken in fact, that you can classify stages by wether the enemies outrange her or not. If the stage features a melee boss with short range, camera basically gives you a free win.
Bun bun variants become mere walking cash when she is in the field. Peons hide in fear. Slow-attacking bosses cry and tremble. Metal enemies explode just by hearing her name. 4-star stages become playable with her.
Like awakened bahamut, the game completely changes when her true form is unlocked.
She did not *completely* change the game though. Ramen singlehandedly powercrept an entire trait by himself. Endgame angels are designed to counter him. The rusher meta is based around Awakened Bahamut. Cameraman did not fully powercreep floating, and there's a much better spammable for late game (i.e. Slapsticks).

Ramen and Bahamut are INSANE at what they do best. Camera is just a unit that has insane dps and stackability overall, at the expense of somewhat low range and speed. I always thought of her strong agst flying as a nice bonus lol (and to make bun bun even more worthless)

Honestly I’m surprised that Viking is ranked so low. Even though he’s only useful when talented and boosted, it’s a pretty solid unit. Although it is somewhat understandable considering roe cat completely outclasses him, he still does really well on 4 star red stages with his really high base health.
I don’t understand why archer would be placed above him considering he has the same problems if not worse

Because archer has better niche value , if viking had 1 kb instead of 3 he would be definitely better than archer, but the 3 kbs affects both his endurance and dps. Archer can be used against floating enemies that camera can't outrange, like moth or face variants and his talents also makes him a decent anti zombie specially against cadaver bear

Fun fact: you can beat Floor 30 with nothing but talented Catley, Musashi, and 3 research ups (bony bone + biohazard + mini-saurus), and with Breakerblast as your cat cannon. If Catley is Level 46 and has Survive Lethal Strike, it will take Hermit 3 hits to kill him. All those Catleys have strength in numbers, with Musashi there to deliver heavy hits to the peons (though he often misses).
Note: Any other anti-wave attacker such as Lifeguard Cats (EDIT: Talented Dancer as well) can be used in place of Musashi, and would probably be even more effective.

The only time I used Goemon is in bathhouse whimsey (with hackey and brollow spam) to clear to crocos quickly. Actually worked for all crowns, even 3 crown, and it was only level 30. Goemon > Robocat
the viking cat although it is a half bad cat, I use it for a sentimental value, it served me in my 3 games that I had in the game, my first cat at 30
Very entertaining, and a lot of useful info and all that. I would have personally put ramen at number 1 bc he's my sweet little baby boy and i love him but cameraman cat is a fair pick too.
Camera number 1 because of versatility (generic attacker, critter, ranged meatshield and has wave resistance talent), cost efficiency, basically free combos (+bullet train for canon start sm and +li'l wall for defense up sm, all 3 units you would bring anyway) and survivability (decent health + 100% survive) if i would guess
Its a really good unit but you literally cant beat some stages without ramen
@@crazycat482 cam is better in late game imo still. you can def bypass angel stages without ramen but camera is pretty much THE general area attacker. also survive is really meta with late game and ramen can sometimes struggle against higher buffed enemies that aren't angels since his HP wont be as significant but he's still def a top 5 gacha rare cat. the amount of damage that this unit outputs is so crazy and she has a crit.

Personally jiangshi deserves more because of his kb and double survivability, best meatshield honestly just a bit expensive and less worth in late game sometimes, i still use him a lot tho
Catasaurs also has his research combo with little mohawk helpful in 4 crowns

In my opinion, I use theif cat more than 1/3 of my rare cats. The only reason I use him is to farm SMH cat ticket stage. He allows me to get warlock and Pierre faster
