HUGE £300+ SAINSBURY’S GROCERY FOOD HAUL + 20 RECIPE IDEAS
This week I’m bringing you a Sainsbury’s grocery shopping haul! Keep scrolling for a list of 20 recipe ideas using ingredients from today's food shopping haul ☺️
So get yourself organized and ready to grocery shop with me! Today’s video will hopefully give you an idea of what’s available at Sainsbury’s at the moment, as well as some ideas as to how you can integrate all of these items into healthy and delicious meals for your family.
Online shopping - and not just for groceries - is one of my favorite tips for getting organized for family meals, avoiding food waste, and importantly: saving money! No more running out of ingredients, or buying random things that don’t come together into actual meals.
The total cost for this shopping was around £330, which is unusually high for us because A) we were out of almost all pantry items B) we stocked up on a few expensive bottles of alcohol C) we purchased all of the meat we’ll be eating for the next month, a lot of it being organic, which is more expensive.
I do as much of my grocery shopping as possible online, as I find this is the absolute best way possible to avoid impulse purchases (shopping when hungry, anyone?) and to make sure that I’m shopping with purpose. Everything I buy is for a recipe, or a specific meal I have in mind.
I usually build my online grocery cart over the period of a few days, while I think about what I have a taste for that week, browse Pinterest, and look through recipes I’ve created myself and published on my blog (www.seefoodpla...).
