Also as what other people said, WELCOME BACK TO YOU SIR! I HOPE all is well and OK. I've spent the last 5-6 years in and out of the hospital. Pneumonia, Double Pneumonia, Bronchial Pneumonia, and was recently diagnosed with terminal Emphysema. Ironically it's the same disease that took my Mother from us in 1996. Thank you for these videos, they mean more than just a game! They are a special Moment in time. Thanks again and God Bless you and your family! Take care and be safe!

1985 was also the last season in which the Milwaukee Brewers wore powder blue road jerseys (switched to the traditional grey road jerseys the following year in 1986).

They always looked a lot better in light blue road uniforms than in gray.

The weird thing is the major uniform websites both swear that they only wore the powder blues through 1984. I knew I wasn’t imagining things. They didn’t switch to gray until 1986.

Wow the Angels have a hell of a lead coming out of the allstar break! They're surely going to make the postseason!

I love the fact that Rick Manning stayed in MLB even tho his batting stats were always tiny.
He may have averaged 140 hits, 17 doubles, 3 triples, 3 homers and 45 rbi's per year.

HOF material. An MVP season in 1980, which he should have won because George Brett only played in 118 games.

George Bamberger was a bad manager. The 1982-83 Mets can verify this. (Well the Mets stunk bad after 1975 until 1984).
