imagine if all of the dry bay area looked like this with amazing rivers and lush tropical rainforests. The government had it all cut down in 1800 and now we must restore it to save the planet.

About how long was your hike from Purisma Creek Trail and looping back with the Craig Britton Trail/ Harkins?
Did you have any issues with parking? From where I think you parked I'm reading there are only 7 spots and I'm not finding a way to make a reservation. I would love to go in September so am trying to work out the logistics of this trail.
Thanks so much for sharing, it helped make up my mind on which Redwood trail to do!

Hi Cassidy, glad you liked the video. I think the loop is just under 7 miles. And I never had an issue with parking, but I always got there around 8am before crowds showed up. On this map I parked at the Purisima Creek marker: www.openspace.org/sites/default/files/map_PCR.pdf

Looking at google maps and alltrails and I see a lot of options around here. You know what the name of the trail was? Was it the north ridge trail?

I started at the Purisma Creek Trail, connected with the Craig Britton Trail, and then looped back via the Harkins Ridge Trail. I parked at the Higgins Canyon Road/Purisima Creek Road trailhead.

Hi Stephen, do you mind telling me what entrance you went through? I only know about the summit entrance. Thanks!

Hi Franco. The entrance I took was from following the backroad next to the Half Moon Bay fire station. You just follow that back road a few miles and it leads you to the trailhead.

Are you driving to there? Is there any parking spot?

Hi Picasso. Yes, you can drive there. Google "Purisima Creek Redwood Trail" and there are several trailheads that you can drive to in order to access this trail.
