I've tried this, I'm now at the 1000th level. Honestly, it's the same the whole way through. Plants are still randomised and placed in odd orders etc

guess he didn't take enough dmg for that, I might rebalance him in this mod and give him less HP so he spawn bungees and trucks as well as can die if overloaded on dmg
I thought those vehicles that were thrown were like the vehicles penny was based off of
@alccoderonscartch7909 if I recall correctly it 1) varies from version to version and 2) there's a few different vehicles it can throw, kind of like how gargantuars have multiple things they can use to smash plants

i think this would be hella a lot more balanved if he just placed 3 random zombies and then spat out a fireball or ice ball on another lane and then he left

If you did make this and if you make sprites, could you make a squashed sprites for the IZombie Plants? Overall if they (Popcap) did work on the first PVZ again, I could see this as a feature, just as long as he has a smaller healthpool and a heavier cooldown. (And also removing both the fire and ice balls for obvious reasons, I mean if you get too many of them you just... win?)
